After a while, Marlon arrived accompanied by a stunning woman. They both changed into their swimsuits. Everyone there seemed to swim well, except Stella.
Nathan asked Marlon to look after Liam for a moment and then swar to the edge of the pool, holding out his hand to Stella.
“Give me your hand, we’re going down.”
“Wait a minute…”
Before he could finish the sentence, Stella let out a scream as Nathan’s firm hands grabbed her waist and pulled her into the water. The fright made her instinctively wrap her arms around his neck. When she regained control, she realized that several eyes were on her. Her face immediately flushed.
“Let me go,” she murmured.
Nathan nodded and loosened his grip. However, as he held her less, Stella began to sink slightly. Although she knew the pool wasn’t deep, fear overwhelmed her. Without thinking, she grabbed his wrist tightly.
Nathan just watched, without intervening.
“Support me for a moment,” she admitted, overcome by nervousness.
A satisfied smile appeared on Nathan’s face. He finally held her waist again, allowing her to adjust to the water. Despite the contact, Stella continued to cling to him, unable to relax.
“Didn’t you want to go over there?” he asked, pointing to the fence.
She nodded. That had been her goal all along.
“Then let’s go.”
“What about Liam?” Stella looked worriedly at the boy, but noticed that Marlon and his companion were by his side. Liam seemed to be enjoying himself with the other children, laughing and playing in the water.
“Marlon will take care of him.”
Stella relaxed and followed Nathan to the area near the railing. Instead of standing among the crowd, he led her to a quieter corner.
“Why have we come here?” he asked.
“Wouldn’t you prefer a quieter place?”
She couldn’t deny it. Leaning on the railing, she contemplated the landscape. The sky was already dark, but the night view of Rio de Janeiro was spectacular. The gentle wind enveloped her, bringing a sense of peace.
When she was completely absorbed in the view, she felt Nathan’s fingers slide through her hair. Then he touched her face, gently caressing her skin.
She pulled away slightly, feeling ticklish, but Nathan pulled her back bringing his lips close to her collarbone.
“Why don’t you wear the necklace I gave you?” he murmured.
Stella blinked in surprise.

“It’s at home,” she replied.
“Why don’t you wear it?” she insisted.
He didn’t seem to like excuses. Stella hesitated, but soon realized that she had to say something that would please him:
“It’s very beautiful… I’m afraid of breaking it.”
His countenance relaxed. Satisfied, Nathan grabbed her left shoulder and ordered:
“When we get home, I want you to wear it. And every day from now on
Stella rolled her eyes discreetly, but nodded to avoid prolonging the subject.
Nathan’s hand remained on her collarbone, sliding lightly. Stella–realized that he intended to go further and immediately grabbed his wrist.
“Don’t joke, there are a lot of people here,” he warned.
“The lighting is low. No one will notice. ” he replied with an insinuating smile.
She sighed in frustration. She tried to pull away, but he pulled her back, making her body press against his. The position was uncomfortably intimate.
“Nathan, let me go,” she demanded.
‘His lips brushed her ear, his voice low and suggestive:
“How about we go back first?”
She knew immediately what he was getting at. She refused without hesitation:
“I don’t want to. I want to stay with Liam.”
“Marlon will take him back. Sara will take care of him,” Nathan argued, his voice becoming more and more persuasive. “Besides, don’t you want to get pregnant soon to help Liam?”
