Chapter 133: Space She Would Get.
Confusion raced through Silas as his eyes moved from Dylan to Ivy. “What are you talking about?”
Oh, he heard Dylan right, he didn’t just want to believe him. Dylan was a chronic liar, he knew that so he turned to lvy, but the fear in her green eyes made his stomach churn.
Still, he asked, “Ivy? What is he talking about?”
But Ivy didn’t speak, she just bit her lip, twisting the fabric of her dress,
“Tell him, dear,” Dylan said, the smirk on his lips widening.
Silas turned to Dylan, glaring at him. “Do not speak to my wife like that.”
Dylan scoffed. “Come on, I’m just trying to make it easier for you,” he said, taking a step closer. “These women are not worth ruining our friendship for. She, Kim, they are all hoes.”
“You’re sick!” Ivy snapped, her nostrils flaring as she glared at Dylan. And for a moment Silas was relieved at her response.” Don’t fucking compare me to a tramp!”
“But are you any different?” Dylan laughed.
Silas saw the madness in Ivy’s eyes and quickly intervened. He moved closer to her, raising a hand.
“Dylan!” Silas snapped, his voice firm.
He knew he was supposed to say more to defend Ivy, but that question was still unanswered, and judging from the triumph on Dylan’s face, Silas felt his heart crumble.
“Silas, Silas,” Dylan said, shaking his head. “Always picking the wrong women. Always choosing them over me. You know how much I love you, Silas. I always show that, man.”
Silas cocked a brow. “If you loved me that much you wouldn’t have slept with Kim.”
Dylan’s blue eyes darkened with pain. “I was showing you!”
“I’ve seen enough!” Silas shot back, then he turned to Ivy. “Let’s go.”
Whatever issue this was, they would solve it privately, away from Dylan’s jabs and teases.
“She kissed me on your wedding day! And this is how you’ll react!” Dylan said, his voice loud with disbelief.
“I didn’t kiss you!” Ivy snapped at him, then she turned to Silas, her eyes softened, her voice shaking. “He forced himself on me.”
Silas groaned, stepping back in disbelief. No way that was true. No way that was…
But the guilt in Ivy’s eyes, the way she rubbed her neck, told him otherwise.
She looked away, her face flushing. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. It was… I couldn’t…” Her voice cracked.
Silas tilted his head, his brow furrowing. “You…” he stuttered. “Why didn’t you… why wait this long to tell me?
“Because she’s a liar,” Dylan said, his voice twinkling with excitement. “And she enjoyed it, they all do.”
Silas’s jaw tightened at Dylan’s casual words. His confusion morphed into anger, and before he could control himself, he lunged at Dylan.
“You bastard!” He struck Dylan on the face.
“Silas!” Ivy gasped, running towards them.
Dylan didn’t hit back, instead he started to laugh, making Silas even more angry.
“Silas, please!” Ivy pleaded just as he landed another blow on Dylan’s face.
He was about to strike again when Thomas rushed to him, holding his hand to block the punch.
“Chill out man!” Thomas said, nudging Silas away.
“You fucker!” Silas snapped, pointing at Dylan who was still laughing hysterically.
Two guards came in with Rosie leading them. She pointed to Dylan who was now wiping his bleeding mouth with his sleeve. “Take him away,” she ordered.
Dylan was ruffled to his feet by the guards, he cocked his head, a smirk on his lips. “I hope you come back to your senses. These hoes ain’t worth our friendship,” he said

“Let me get you ice for that,” Rosie said and quickly dashed out.

He looked at Ivy, and before she looked away, he saw the quilt in her eyes.
“Come, let’s get you out of this mood, Thomas said, gesturing towards the end of the hatway
“I would join you soon,” he told Thomas, but his eyes were on Ivy
Thomas nodded. “I’ll be at the bar.” Then he left.
Once he and Ivy were alone, he stepped forward, trying his best to keep the anger away from his vÁCA “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“… I didn’t..” Ivy stuttered, wrapping her arms around herself like a shield from his anger
He almost didn’t want to be mad at her.
“Finish your statement,” he ordered. His voice was low but he knew she could hear the anger in it
“A fight broke out before I could tell you,” She finally said, still not looking at him.
He gasped, his muscles tensing at her admission. He couldn’t believe this happened again, God! And this hurt so much more, not because it was the second time around, but because… it was her
It was Ivy. She was not his fiance, she was his wife! And… he loved her.
“Fuck!‘ he groaned, swinging his hand in the air, feeling his knuckles hurt again.
“I didn’t want to say… because I didn’t want to hurt you again,” she added softly.
Silas let out a short, dry, laugh. “So you were doing me a favor? By not telling me?”
Ivy looked him in the eyes, her fear and guilt suddenly disappeared and replaced with anger. The intensity frightened him and he stepped back.
“At least I was thinking about you,” she said, the corners of her mouth twisting. “I was concerned about your feelings, it might have been stupid to hide it then bit I was thinking about you regardless! Unlike you! You couldn’t even wait for my day to be over before shoving your mouth in Kim!”
Silas blinked. He had completely forgotten that he had followed her to explain himself.
“I didn’t kiss Kim, she-”
“Oh I’m blind now?!” she flared.
Silas raised a brow. “I’m wondering how this situation turned. I was the angry one.”
Ivy stepped forward, rage in her eyes. “The situation with Dylan happened months ago! Yours just happened! You weren’t fucking me when Dylan forced himself on me!”
He winced at the rawness in her words, the way she had undermined their lovemaking, but he couldn’t deny it. Beneath the hurt he felt, he knew she was right.
“Well, I was tricked,” he admitted.
Ivy scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Tell me something I don’t know, Silas.”
“I was lured to that room.”
Then he told her how a server had come to him, telling him Thomas was waiting for him in that room. But when he entered, he found out it was Kim.
“She had moved too quickly for a woman with broken limbs and that was when I found out she was lying. But when I confronted her about it, she kissed me instead and… you walked in.”
Ivy looked at him like she didn’t believe anything he said.
He stepped forward, suddenly feeling the urge to explain himself. “She lied about the injuries, I found out and she tried to bury it with a kiss. She wasn’t in any accidents.”
But Ivy knew that already, he could tell from the twinkle in her eyes. “How did…”
“Rosie told me,” she said with a sigh.
Rosie walked in with a bag of ice. “I found…” but she trailed off once she figured out the tension in the air. “I will just-”
“We have a party to enjoy,” Ivy said, interrupting Rosie but looking at him. “I don’t want to keep my guests unattended to.” Then she walked away.
Silas took the ice from Rosie. “Thank you, Rosie.”
Rosie didn’t say anything, she just nodded and left.
Silas pressed the ice against his bruised knuckles and winced. He hated feeling pain, but he enjoyed that Dylan got a piece of him.
He sighed and then proceeded to the bar to meet Thomas.

“Hey, Thomas said.
“Hey,” he replied, pulling out a chair. “Vodka please,” he told the waiter behind the counter.
“Are you okay?” His brother asked.
“Yes,” he said flatly, but he really wasn’t.
He was hurt, angry and ashamed, and he just wanted to forget all that by burying himself in alcohol. When he was given the drink, he downed it, nodding to Thomas’s words without saying anything. Seven glasses later, it was time to go home and he was tipsy. Bud helped him into the open car.
“Where is Ivy?”
“She’s gone with Ms Theresa, sir,” Bud replied.
Silas’s jaw clenched as he slid into the car. He couldn’t believe Ivy would rather leave than actually talk aboutt the whole situation.
He was so mad that when he got home, he went straight to her room, and packed his things.
