Chapter 134 Kim Walker, Her Frustration.
Chapter 134: Kim Walker; Her Frustration.
“Fuck!” Kim grunted as the pain settled in her chest.
That was the last chance to get back with Silas, and she had messed it up. All thanks to fucking Ivy.
She removed the fake cast and threw it away, frustration burning her skin. There was no point pretending, no point dragging that godforsaken heavy rubbish around.
The cat was already out of the bag; Silas knew she was lying.
She wiped the tears of frustration from her eyes and put on her shoes. Now she had to face Rosie, hopefully she had another great idea.
Kim adjusted her gown, wiped her face properly. As she stepped out of the room, she saw the maid who had arranged the whole meeting.
She was coming upstairs with a tray of drinks, and when she saw Kim, her face lit up with a smile. “Did you see Mr St-”
“Fuck off!” Kim snapped at her and then snatched two glasses from her tray.
The maid’s eyes widened and her smile disappeared, but she didn’t say anything.
Kim downed both glasses, dropped the empty ones, and picked two more. She finished those ones and went downstairs.
“Much better,” she belched, tossing the empty glass somewhere.
Her eyes darted around, looking for Rosie, and she found her at the mini bar. “Rosie!” she called.
Rosie turned, giving her that look when she didn’t want to talk. “Wait for me,” she whispered before dashing away with a bag of ice.
Kim picked her teeth with her fingers and leaned towards the bar. “One bottle of scotch,” she said to the waiter.
Some moments later, the waiter poured her a glass and passed it. She glared at him, a frown on her lips. “The whole bottle, fucker!”
“Sorry ma’am,” the waiter said and gave it to her.
Kim downed it, enjoying its harsh taste against her throat. “Next time, listen,” she eyed him as she walked away.
She gulped down more drink, and as she straightened up, Rosie pulled her roughly into a room.
“You’re drunk!” Rosie snapped, snatching the bottle and placing it on a drawer.
“No I am not,” Kim replied. “I… am just in pain.”
Rosie’s eyes narrowed. “How did you mess this up again?”
Kim sighed. “I was talking to him… and somehow he found out the cast was fake.”
Rosie’s eyes dropped to her feet and they widened. “You took it off?!”
“He knew already,” Kim quickly replied, “that shit is too heavy. I was going to kiss him before Ivy walked in.”
Rosie shook her head, frowning. “You have to leave.”
Kim’s heart skipped a beat. “Why? You said you were going to help me. You said-”
“And I tried my best,” Rosie objected, “but it’s obviously not working, and I already told Ivy it was all you.”
Kim blinked at the betrayal. “All me? Were you not the one who call-”
“I had to say something.” Rosie interpreted with a sigh. “She was… it was just weird. Anyways, you need to leave.”
Kim didn’t want to believe Rosie had brought her this far only to let her go. “But Rosie, you promised…”
Rosie stepped forward, placing a hand on her shoulder. “Just for a short while, until I can come up with a better plan.”
She couldn’t go back home, she couldn’t go back to father. “Ros-”
“Just trust me, Kim. You’ll get Silas,” Rosie said, then added a smile.
Kim nodded, her heart easing out with the smile on Rosie’s face.
“But you have to leave right now.”
Kim’s stomach turned. “Leave where? I can’t-”
Rosie’s face suddenly twisted into a frown. “I asked you to trust me, Kim. Just believe me.”
Kim observed Rosie, trying to know if she was lying, but she got nothing from Rosie’s hard stare.
“Fine!” she sneered. “Fine, I’ll leave. Just keep to your word.”
“I will,” Rosie said indifferently. “Just go through the back door, please. I don’t want you ruining the plan.”

Kim groaned, stomping her feet. This wasn’t how she wanted the day to go, she was supposed to be in Silas’s arms already. She reached for the bottle of scotch, but Rosie snatched it.
“Nope,” Rosie said, “you’ve had enough.”
“Fine!” Kim whined and then left the room.
Like Rosie had suggested, she sneaked through the backdoor, going through the tiny road that led to the other side of Rosie’s house.
Once she was out, she adjusted her gown and went down the pathway. Just two blocks away, she paused when she saw the figure in front of her.
“Dylan?” she gasped, her eyes widened. “What are you doing here?”
Dylan chuckled, his mouth curved into a smirk. “I should ask you the same.”
Kim grimaced when she really looked at him. He looked tattered with blood all over his swollen face. “Ew, what happened to you?”
Instead of replying to her he stepped forward, his eyes shining with desire. “You look beautiful as always. Want to head somewhere for a quickie?”
“You’re disgusting!” she snapped at him. “Why would I want to do shit with you?”
Dylan raised his brow. “Because we’ve done it before?”
“Well yeah, when I thought you were the shit,” she scoffed.
“Come on, Kimmy.”
She scowled at the nickname. “Fuck off, loser.” Then she left.
Kim made her way back to her hotel room and sank on the bed.
“Fuck!” she groaned as the reality set in again.
Silas hadn’t bulged, despite all her efforts, he hadn’t taken her back. Fuck, it hurt to admit that he really wasn’t in love with her anymore.
The pain slipped into her veins and she sprang to her feet. “I can’t do this,” she said aloud, and walked to the phone in the
room.
She dialed room service and waited for it to be answered.
“Room service, how may I help you?” A woman’s voice sounded on the other side.
“I would love a bottle of scotch please,” Kim said.
“Room number please?”
“305.”
The woman paused for a while before she spoke. “I’m sorry, Ms Walker, we can’t serve you anything at the moment.”
Kim huffed. “What? Why?”
“You have outstanding bills, and your credit card has declined,” the woman said.
Her heart tightened with fear, but she kept her voice steady. “Have you tried it again?”
“Yes ma’am, several times.”
The dread settled inside her stomach and spread round her body. “I will get back to you,” she said and hung up.
She went to the wardrobe and began to check if she had cash. She did, but it wasn’t enough,
“Fuck!‘ she grunted.
Ivy had ruined her plans. She wasn’t supposed to be spending this much, she was supposed to be with Silas spending his
money.
She picked up her phone and dialed Rosie’s number. Of course, Rosie ccould help with the situation.
But when Rosie didn’t pick after five calls, Kim started to panic. She paced round the room, her heart pounding. She rushed to the mini fridge for water to ease her nerves, but when she pressed the code to unlock the fridge, it didn’t open.
Maybe she pressed the wrong code, she thought, and tried it again, but after three trials, she got pissed and redialed the room service lady.
“Room serv-”
“The fridge in my room is not fucking working,” Kim snapped.
The woman sighed before she spoke. “Ms Walker, it isn’t working because of the outstanding-”

Kim dropped the call before she finished. She groaned as she sank into the bed
What was she going to do now?
She knew Silas would definitely not answer her calls anymore, and the gouldn’t go back home
Her phone buzzed with a message and thinking it was Rosie calling back, she reached for it, only to see a message from her father
“Your cards have been frozen, Kimberly. Stop all this nonsense and come back home”
She clenched her fingers as the fear moved in. She tossed the phone, refusing to Erumble to the text
If only Silas had taken her back!
It was all because of that Ivy girl!
Anger surged through her, and she channeled it towards Ivy. If only Ivy didn’t exist, getting Silas would have been easy
Kim took her phone and was about to call Ivy when she realized she didn’t have her number.
Matter of fact, she knew nothing about that girl. She decided to check the Internet, hoping to find anything incriminating
But after thirty minutes, just when she was about to give up, she found an account that stood out.
Intrigued, Kim went to the person’s profile and was shocked to see that this person hated Ivy even more than she does.
“Interesting,” she said aloud as she began to scroll on the page. Half way in, she was completely convinced this person hated Ivy.
“Who are you?” she wondered out loud as she slid into the stranger’s privatte messenger.
She composed a message and hoped the lady was online.
“Hello Cheryl, I just came across your page. Let’s meet, please. I need to know more about this Ivy bitch.
