Chapter 131: The After Party.
Ivy’s stomach knotted as she got another message from her father. She picked up her phone and read, the text made her pulse quicken.
“We should talk, please.”
She shook her head, dropping her phone as disbelief coursed through her
This was not her father. Something was definitely wrong.
The door opened, and she jumped.
She turned towards it as Silas came in with a box and a bright smile on his face.
“Ivy. Baby!” Silas cheered, dropping the box by the foot of the bed. He walked over and pulled her closer. His hug was warm and familiar. “I’ve missed you.”
Then he paused, lifting her head up with his fingers. “What’s wrong?” His eyes soft, his voice gentle.
Ivy didn’t speak, she just gestured to her phone. Silas picked it up quickly, his expression changing from shock to
confusion, then to anger.
“What does he want?”
“I wish I knew,” she shrugged. “The change of tone is funny, she chuckled dryly and told him about all the calls yesterday.
“Do you think he was hacked? Maybe it’s not him?” Silas asked, his brow lifted.
“I don’t know,” Ivy admitted and sank on the bed.
“Hey, hey,” Silas said, coming close. “I don’t want you thinking about anything. Tomorrow is a big day.”
“Yes,” she smiled at him, her tight nerves loosened just a little with excitement.
“So no thoughts about insignificant things or people,” Silas added, his brow creasing. “Remember, he disowned you publicly. You don’t owe him anything.”
The reminder was enough to kill those thoughts, and she got up from the bed. “I… need to take my bath.”
Silas straightened up, gesturing to the box. “This is your dress from Sky Rave, but you’ll only get to see it tomorrow,” he said as if he didn’t hear what she said.
“Okay, thank you,” Ivy replied. “Can’t wait to try it on,” she added a little enthusiastically.
Silas nodded with a smile. “Do you want me to bathe you?”
“No,” she said firmly, but her cheeks betrayed her by turning red immediately. “I can do just fine.”
Silas chuckled as he unbuckled his wristwatch. The mischief and desire dancing in his eyes made her slightly choke on her breath.
She looked away as he stepped closer, her brain screaming for her to run, but her heart keeping her rooted in the same position.
“I got your recording,” Silas said, already close to her. “But-” He wrapped his hand on her waist and pressed his erection against her stomach. “-Wade hasn’t gotten back to me.”
“Yes,” she uttered silently, unable to say more.
Silas lowered his mouth to her neck and when she felt his lips, she gasped, “I know you’re tired.” His voice was thick with passion. “Let me take care of you.”
Maybe it was out of exhaustion or it was simply out of passion, Ivy didn’t leave, instead she rested her head on his shoulders, encouraging him.
Silas turned her back gently and undid the gown’s zip. “I have never seen you in this before.”
Despite the moment, Ivy replied. “It’s… Theresa’s.”
“Uhmm,” he said and slipped her out of the gown. He unbuckled her bra, and his hand rested near her breasts.
So far from them, yet so close.
Silas dropped to his knees. He placed a small kiss on her navel, causing a shiver to race through her as he took off her pants.

Ivy stood there, completely naked, completely unable to move. Silas’s eyes traveled to her already hard nipples and she bit her lips, unable to look in his eyes.

He took her bar of soap and scrubbed her body. “Relax” he said softly
But she couldn’t. His touch burned at every spot, and when his hand went between her legs, she parted them, shutting her eyes to the heat and moaning loudly
Silas didn’t touch her there, he just proceeded to her toes, teasing her
When she opened her eyes, she saw the bulge in his trousers but watched as his eyes it up with determination to make her clean.
By the time he was done, Ivy was already dripping with passion. Silas helped her to her feet, and took her to the bed
He toweled her body and was about to go get her body lotion when she stopped him with her hand.
Her eyes met his, and she bit her lips as the heat creeped up her cheeks. She slipped out of the towel, revealing her opened and needy legs.
Silas’s eyes fell between her thighs and she saw the desire burn in them.
“Touch me, Silas, she breathed. “Take me.”
And that was the only encouragement Silas needed before he took off his clothes and buried himself inside her.
Ivy woke up feeling better the next morning. Just as she got out of bed, Silas entered the room with a tray of food.

She laughed, excitement racing through her. Today was finally here!
“How are you?” Silas asked as he set the tray on the bedside table, leaned forward and kissed her deeply.
Ivy pulled him closer, twirling her tongue possessively inside his mouth.
“Wow! I feel harassed,” Silas said, pulling away and she laughed.
She checked the tray and popped a strawberry in her mouth. “Thank you.”
Silas stood up, beaming. “So, your company has been registered and we’ll be getting the documents after the party.”
“Oh, thanks, Silas!”
“You’re welcome,” he smiled. “And Thomas and Rosie have volunteered their house for the afterparty.” Then he cocked his head. “If that’s okay with you.”
“Oh it is,” Ivy said, guilt surging through her.
She hadn’t included Rosie, yet Rosie was willing to offer her home for the party. The guilt deepened at the thought.
“What? We can cancel that if you don’t want it,” Silas said quickly, looking at her.
“Oh no,” she replied, “It’s perfect, besides we can all use the publicity and fun.”
“Are you sure?”
Before the guilt could worsen, Ivy quickly got out of bed. “Yes. Come on, let’s go get ready.”
An hour later, she was clad in a red gown with an open back, her hair styled perfectly and her jewelry gleaming.
Silas was handsome as well in his black tailored suit. “Shall we?”
“Yes,” she nodded, smiling to ease her nerves.
The drive to her company was quick and when they arrived, Ivy was surprised to see how beautiful the place had transformed.
“Wow!” she exclaimed as she got down from the car.
Lindsey and Joanna had kept to their words; they had beautified her company.
Silas looked around, equally impressed. “Let’s go to the party,” he said, sliding his hand down her waist.
Ivy’s stomach churned as she walked into the horde of reporters. Camera flashes surrounded them, and her emotions
heightened, but with Silas holding her, she was able to hold her smile and face the cameras.
When they were done, they made their way to the premises where her staff all came to greet her.
“Go meet your guests, Silas encouraged her, and she obeyed.
She walked over to the tables, almost every one she knew were present–Sonia, Catherine, Theresa, Aria and even Andrew and Uncle Mike.
She walked to Thomas’s table and he stood when he saw her. “Congratulations, Ivy.” He hugged her.
Chapter 131 The After Party.
Ivy returned the hug, her excitement doubling until her eyes fell on Rosie who had a frown etched on her face.
Ivy straightened up and approached her, guilt settling inside her stomach. “Hey Rosie.”
“Hey,” Rosie said flatly.
“I’m-”
But Ivy was interrupted when Aunt May screamed her name. “Ivy!”
And that was it, that was how Ivy couldn’t speak to Rosie until the after party began
Ivy trudged round Rosie’s garden, nodding at guests as her eyes darted around looking for Silas.
She hadn’t seen him in a while. The last time she did, he was sharing a drink with his brother.
Rosie was sitting at the corner of the room, and when she saw Ivy approaching, she stood up and left.
Ivy’s shoulders slumped as she turned round, the guilt returning to her chest. She walked over to a maid who was serving drinks.
“Have you seen Silas, please?”
“Yes, ma’am. He went to that room,” the maid nodded, pointing towards upstairs.
“Thanks,” she said and proceeded to the room. She climbed the stairs, holding the railings for support.
When she reached the room, she called. “Silas?”
But as Ivy opened the door she froze.
Silas was in bed with Kim. And they were kissing!
