Sherry was beautiful and dressed in designer brands.
She glanced at Freya a few times, noting that Freya had a clean and elegant air about her, and her gaze showed some scrutiny, but she didn’t express it outwardly.
Instead, she extended her hand with enthusiasm for a self–introduction, “Hello, Freya, I’m Sherry. Please guide me in the next few days.”
Freya shook her hand, “You’re too polite.”
“I graduated from T University with a master’s degree this June. Freya, which school did you graduate from? You – ”
She just graduated earlier this year?
So, Sherry probably has little to no work experience, but they’re already asking her to replace Freya?
However, this was just a normal assumption.
Perhaps Sherry had her unique strengths?
For example, regarding education, there were plenty of master’s graduates in the office, but she was
still the team leader.
Thinking this, Freya gently interrupted Sherry’s words, saying, “Sherry, we have a meeting in a bit,
so let’s talk about work first.”

about work first.”
On the way to the meeting, Sherry lowered her voice and asked, “Freya, I heard that President Matteo is very handsome. Is it true?”
Freya nodded, “Mmm.”

Freya didn’t know that Matteo wouldn’t be coming to the company today.
However, Matteo had many personal businesses, so it wasn’t surprising that he didn’t come to Wilson Group every day.
By noon, Sherry dragged her to the cafeteria to cat. After picking up their food, Freya took out her phone and called Isabella.
Sherry teased her, “Calling your boyfriend?”
“No, I’m calling my daughter.”
“Your daughter? Are you married?”
“Yes.”
On the other side, Isabella was video calling with Raven. And Matteo was also there.
When Isabella saw them, she pouted, “You guys are bad. You secretly ate together without taking
me.”
“Because you’re going to school, sweetheart. After class, Auntie will pick you up, and we’ll have dinner together later, okay?”
“That’s more like it.”
Isabella said this, then glanced at Matteo.
Matteo picked up a piece of food for Raven before saying, “What would you like to eat tonight? I’ll have someone prepare it for you.”
Isabella finally looked happier and began listing all the food she liked to eat.
Matteo was just listening nearby.
After Isabella finished, Raven praised her clothes, “The clothes you’re wearing today look really good. They suit you perfectly.”
‘Really?”
Raven smiled, “Of course, they do.”

She then asked, “How was your day at school? Did you get along with the other kids?”
The conversation flowed easily, with Raven and Isabella chatting happily. Matteo rarely interrupted, instead eating his meal slowly with a knife and fork.
Unaware, the waiter looked over at them and assumed they were a family of three, sending an
envious glance toward Raven.
At this moment, Isabella saw that Freya had called her on video.
The call was one that Freya had asked for earlier in the morning.
But now, Isabella was enjoying the conversation with Raven, and she was reluctant to hang up the
call with Raven.
This morning, when she had seen Freya holding another child, she hadn’t been very happy.
But today, during class, the teacher had said that parents are the ones who love their children the
most, and in every mother’s heart, her child is unique and irreplaceable.
That had reassured her.
Freya noticed that she hadn’t answered the call for a while, so she got worried and called the teacher.
The teacher, who was in the children’s lounge, chuckled when she heard the reason for the call,
“Don’t worry, Isabella is fine. She’s currently video calling with her dad and what seems to be an
auntie. Hold on, I’ll tell her – ”
