“Alpha! Alpha we found two Rusian spies camping out in the woods We don’t know if they are connected but we are assuming so?!” Two males from my pack come bursting through the door, causing myself, Seth and Anthony to pounce up at the update.
Perfect!
We follow them through the hallways, which had been evacuated with humans and staff to allow my pack the space to work, before we come into a small locked room revealing two men both tied to hairs.
They begin to both yell in Russian, as I cringe and suddenly grow irritated by the accent.
“SHUT THE FUCK UP! English?!” I bark in my Alpha tone, asserting my dominance as they both instantly realise my power above
them.
As though they had seen a ghost, they glance to one another with nerves on what to do or say going forward.
“Not too good, English One of them attempts, as I nod once in understanding.
“It will do!” I state firmly, as they again both glance to one another for guidance.
With a steely glare, I fix my gaze on the two captives, my patience wearing thin as I demand answers.
“Where are they?” I bark, my voice cutting through the tense silence of the room.
The two men exchange nervous glances before one of them speaks up in broken English. “We… we do not know,” he stammers, his eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape.
I narrow my eyes, a surge of frustration rising within me. “Don’t play games with me,” I growl, taking a step closer to the captives. “You know more than what you’re letting on, and I want answers. Now.” I spit.
The two men exchange another glance before the other one speaks up, his voice trembling with fear.
“We were paid to help transport them,” he confesses, his words coming out in a rush. “But we do not know where exactly they were taken. They are travelling to the North that’s all we know!” He claims, as I nod once and mentally narrow down to four packs residing in the North of Russia.
But before I can press the captives further, Seth interrupts with urgent news.
“Kane, Reggie called and said that he found their flight path,” Seth announces, his voice tense with anticipation. “They landed at a private airstrip just outside of Norilsk. We have their location.” He states, as I nod and sigh.
Relief floods through me at the news, but it’s quickly replaced by a renewed sense of determination. “Get the coordinates,” I command, my mind already racing with plans for our next move. “Were going to get them back, no matter what it takes.” I state, before instructing two of my men to keep a watch over our captives.
With a sense of urgency, we spring into action, mobilizing our pack members and having everyone head to the set location to meet by morning.
Every moment counts, and we can’t afford to waste any time as we race to rescue Tessa and Erin from their captors.
As we make our final preparations to depart, I can’t shake the feeling of unease that lingers in the pit of my stomach. The journey ahead will be dangerous and fraught with peril, but I know that we have no choice but to press forward and fuck shit up in order to get them both back.
