Chapter 7
Under my teasing, that look returned to Nathan’s eyes.
Calm madness.
Like he wanted to shred every rule he’d ever followed.
Destroy everything he’d built his life upon.
I made the first move, but he remained perfectly still.
Just watching me with those dark, hungry eyes.
Until I pressed my lips to his ear, breathing softly: “Nathan.”
In one fluid motion, he pinned me to the bed.
The always–controlled CEO transformed completely. His kisses grew demanding, possessive.
No longer pretending to be his brother, no more holding back. His shirt came off, revealing a body sculpted from years of discipline. I gasped as his lips traced down my neck, my collarbone, lower….

“Bro, it’s me. Why do you sound so… different?”
“Make it quick.”
“Did you break up with Emma yet?”
Nathan gave a distracted “Mm.”
“Did she… did she cry?”

Matthew sounded uncertain, then explained: “I was thinking. when you tell her, she’ll probably cry. And somehow… I can’t stop picturing it. If you haven’t told her yet… maybe wait?
But Nathan was barely listening, his hands already wandering over my wet skin.
“We’ll talk later,” he muttered, reaching for the end call button.
Under the hot water, desire built again.
Nathan pressed me against the cool tiles, his lips claiming mine.
“Who am I?” he demanded between kisses.
“Nathan Rivera.”
“Who do you want?”
“Only you, Nathan.”
“Good girl, you’re mine now.”
His hands explored every inch of me, drawing out sighs and pleas.
But in our passion, we’d missed something crucial.
The phone call hadn’t ended. The line was still open…
