Annalise awkwardly picked up her coffee and drank, her eyes flickering. She thought that I was cold and aloof, gentle and quiet, but she never expected that I was also clear–minded and intelligent. I was not at all like some of her male friends, who were simple–minded and easily deceived.
I turned my face and continued to watch the rain. If I had an umbrella, I would get up and leave directly. The atmosphere was somewhat tense.
