“She’s not here to cause trouble, is she?”
“Ha, what right does she have? Does she still think of herself as Jason’s real partner?”
“Both families have announced their bonding engagement. Her coming here now is just humiliating herself.”

“But she didn’t do anything wrong, right? She was in a relationship, and Jason’s heartless, wanting to bond someone else, how is this her fault?”
The guests whispered amongst themselves. Most were there to watch the show, to see Sophia’s humiliation, with few people speaking up for her, only to be refuted.
Tanner’s face turned pale when she saw me approaching, as if she’d seen a ghost. Her wolf was shock, “HOW’S THAT POSSIBLE?” Vera looked panicked. Jason was even more panicked, taking a step towards me.
“Don’t!” Tanner held his arm tightly, preventing him from moving. In her anxiety, regardless of the setting, she took on the posture of a proper girlfriend, shouting at me, “Jason and I are getting engaged, we’re going to hold the bonding ceremony soon, you should stop bothering him…”
Jason was furious. But in front of so many people, he couldn’t lose his temper. He could only lower his voice, telling Tanner to shut up, and coldly pulling his arm away. Tanner was on the verge of tears. Jason took another step, but Zane and his brother stopped him.
Zane said, “Jason, be reasonable! Are you going to humiliate my sister for that woman?”
Jason shouted, “Let go!”
The guests‘ excitement grew even higher. The whispers intensified.
By this time, I had reached the center of the ballroom. I continued walking, calmly taking a glass of red wine from a nearby table and taking a leisurely sip.
“What exactly do you want?! Just leave!”
Vera quickly came down from the stage to block me. Jason broke free from the Cooper brothers, stepping in front of me, his face cold, “Don’t cause a scene, I’ll explain when we get home…”
“Jason, are you planning to take a concubine? That was not the tradition for a werewolf, isn’t it?”
I interrupted him, my slow, deliberate tone dripping with sarcasm and ridicule.
Jason’s face darkened. Tanner and the Coopers were instantly enraged at the word “concubine.” What did concubine mean? It was a clear insult, implying that even if Tanner bonded with Jason, she would only be a secondary partner! It was a blatant provocation!
The guests were shocked. Sophia was bold, where did she get the confidence?

“Shut up!” Jason roared.
Vera hurried over to comfort Tanner, “Tanner, dear, let’s not bother with her, don’t argue with her.”
I magnanimously said, “Don’t stop her, let her speak.”

“Sophia, if you dare to say anything, you won’t get a penny of the breakup fee!” Vera was afraid I would blurt out the fact that we were secretly bonded and threatened me with money.
But then she remembered forcing me to sign the agreement last night. Her heart sank.
Jason’s eyes narrowed, “What breakup fee?”
Vera’s guilty conscience was showing.
“I thought you two were so in love, but in the end, it’s all about money.”
“And the shameless part is, after getting the money, she still comes to stir things up.’
“She’s just not happy that her sugar daddy is abandoning her after all these years, so she’s making a fuss, trying to extort more money.”
The whispers of the guests reached my ears. The Coopers were already dissatisfied with Jason, and hearing that I had taken the money and was still so arrogant, they felt even more disgraced.
