Chapter 177
After leaving the bar, I arrived at the car. The security guard at the entrance had a sharp eye and opened the passenger door for me. I put Katrina in the passenger seat, adjusted the chair very low, and pulled the seatbelt to fasten her. After settling her down, I sat back in the driver’s seat and drove away.

A ten–minute journey. I entered the house and carried Katrina into her room, placing her on the bed. I turned around and walked out, changed into slippers, put down the car keys, and locked the front door. When I returned to Katrina’s room, she was gone from the bed.
I went to the bathroom to check. I saw her kneeling in front of the toilet, vomiting. I hurriedly went in and squatted beside her, gently patting her back.
“It feels so uncomfortable…” Katrina mumbled, heavily intoxicated, her eyes tightly shut. Her chest was nauseous; her throat itchy, and she felt suffocated, yet unable to vomit.
I whispered softly, “I didn’t drink alcohol; I will drink juice next time.”
“Mmm.” Katrina, as adorable as a sleeping fairy, blushed and pouted her small mouth, obediently nodding. She couldn’t vomit.
I picked her up and placed her back on the bed, helped her take off her shoes and socks, and covered her with a blanket.
Katrina suddenly got up and, unable to control herself, vomited all over the bed. I stood by, watching with a furrowed brow, my hands crossed in frustration as I sighed, “Katrina, you did it on purpose.”
After vomiting, Katrina no longer felt uncomfortable and she fell down afterwards. I hastily pulled off the dirty blanket and picked her up, saying, “With it being so dirty, this bed is not suitable for sleeping.”
Katrina muttered, “Giana, I had a headache; I wanted to sleep.”
I carried her out and entered my room, placing her on the bed. Then, a cup of warm water and an empty basin were taken out from the bathroom. I helped Katrina sit up with one hand, placed an empty basin in front of her, and brought a water cup to her lips, whispering softly, “Rinse your mouth.”
Katrina’s long eyelashes fluttered as she glanced at me and then at the water glass. “Giana, I didn’t drink it.”
