It was not appropriate for them to share a room.
Marcus walked into Celeste’s house with his luggage. “Don’t worry. I won’t stay for long. I’ll only stay until I recover.”
Celeste asked in confusion, “Can’t you stay next door? Why do you have to stay with me?”
Marcus answered truthfully, “Because my mother insisted on forcing me to marry a woman I hated and even tried to arrange for her to come over and take care of me. I hated it and didn’t want to find her.

Ophelia said seriously on the other end of the line, “Chloe posted a live stream online to apologize to you early today. She even took the initiative to say that she would temporarily quit the entertainment industry.
“Now that she’s been forgiven by a bunch of fans, I think she’s going to clear her name. Are you sure you don’t want to interfere?”
‘Why do I care?‘ Celeste thought.
Celeste yawned and said, “As long as Chloe doesn’t drag me into this, why should I waste my time dealing with her?”
After hearing Celeste’s words, Ophelia asked curiously, “That’s true, but don’t you plan to take revenge on her for setting you up and scheming against you previously? When did you become so kind?”
