The man had really gone too far. He was so despicable and shameless!
However, Chloe could not disobey his instructions.
Chloe said, “I won’t let you down,” and hung up.
She gripped her phone tightly as she recalled what the man had just said.
What was the connection between this bracelet and Marcus? Why did Marcus come to pick her up tonight?

Chloe clenched the bag in her hand and braced herself to sit down. “I don’t know Mr. Hale, so why does he want to see me for no reason?”
Cassian smiled and replied, “Miss Sinclair, think about it carefully. Are you sure you don’t know Mr. Hale? You have to know that our Mr. Hale has been looking for you for several years.”

The entire place was booked. Other than the music, there was no noise.
Cassian stood at the door and said, “Miss Sinclair, Mr. Hale is waiting for you inside. Hurry up and go in.”
Chloe swallowed her saliva and braced herself to walk in. The moment she entered, she saw Marcus waiting for her at the dining table.
He was wearing a black suit today, giving off a dignified aura.
His face looked as if it had been sculpted by God himself. It was angular and comparable to the best ratio. He was so handsome.
Chloe was deeply attracted by his face. She quickened her pace and stood beside him.
Marcus leaned back in his chair and sized up Chloe with a normal expression.
As he sized her up, he raised his hand to cover the lower half of her face.
Then, he stared straight at her eyes. These eyes were very similar to the eyes in his memory.
It was just that her gaze was a little off.
He had to test it out.
“Sit,” he said.
Chloe sat opposite Marcus cautiously. “Mr. Hale, I wonder why you suddenly asked to see me.”
“Do you remember what happened when you participated in the summer camp in Kingston three years ago?”

Chloe picked up the glass of water on the table and took a sip before starting to perform.
She said, “I got into a car accident a year ago and accidentally injured my head. Therefore, I only remember a rough idea of what happened three years ago when I participated in the summer camp”
“About what?” Marcus asked.
Chloe said under Marcus‘ burning gaze, “I remember that I saved a man who was very important to me in the forest. After that, I don’t remember anything else.”
After receiving Chloe’s answer, Marcus‘ expressionless face finally revealed a different emotion.
She actually remembered him!
He had read her information and realized that she had indeed been injured a year ago. The doctor said that because of the serious head injury, she could not remember anything other than her important memories.
However, she remembered him. It seemed like he was really important to her.
Marcus thought of this possibility and continued to ask her, “If you can’t remember what happened three years ago, you should remember the origin of this bracelet, right?”
Chloe raised her hand and shook the bracelet on her wrist. “Mr. Hale, are you talking about this bracelet?”
“Yeah.”

As soon as Chloe finished speaking, she put down the glass of water in her hand and stood up to leave.
Marcus looked at her back and tapped his fingers on the table. She was really planning to leave and she was really unwilling to let him repay her for saving his life.
He called out to her just as she was about to disappear into the dining room.
