By the time Louis fully woke up, it was already late morning. His hangover pounded in his head.
He was about to call for Cersei to help him find some ibuprofen. But when he opened his eyes, he saw divorce papers next to him.
He froze for a second, then frowned and picked them up.
“Cersei, what the hell is this? It’s just one night of drinking and you’re threatening me with divorce papers? Seriously?”
He kept flipping through the pages while standing up, but froze when he saw the signatures.
These divorce papers were real.
His face darkened. Ignoring his throbbing headache, he threw on some clothes and rushed downstairs. But no matter where he searched around the house, he couldn’t find Cersei.
All her belongings had vanished completely, as if she’d never been part of his life.
He stood there and lost in thought. After a while, he pulled out his phone only to discover she’d blocked him on everything.
Cersei had really left. Why? Was it because he hadn’t been good enough to her? She loved him so much–she couldn’t just leave.
He slumped on the couch, still reeling from his headache.
Then his phone pinged with a new message. He quickly lit up the screen–it was from Rachel.
“Louis!! Are you busy? I’m craving that Brooklyn Blackout Cake soooo bad. Will you get me some? Please??”
Complete with a cute pouty emoji.
The moment Louis saw Rachel’s message, he immediately pushed aside thoughts of Cersei and headed out to Brooklyn.
In his mind, this was just Cersei’s attention–seeking tactic. He was sick of pretending to love her anyway.
If Cersei wanted to play games, let’s see who’d come crawling back begging to reconcile.
With a cold laugh, Louis dismissed Cersei from his thoughts.
He drove for half an hour and waited in line for another hour before finally getting the cake. By the time he reached Rachel’s place, it was already
evening.
His sister looked like she’d just woken up. The moment she saw him, she bounced over.
“Louis!”
He caught her with open arms, his eyes full of adoration.
“Got your cake. Better eat it while it’s still warm.”
He pulled out the still–warm cake from inside his jacket, earning a bright smile from Rachel.
“Thanks, babe!”
She took it and unwrapped it carefully. Also, she meticulously photographed it.
Then she pouted, giving him a playful scolding. “Why just one? Cersei loves this cake too! She’s gonna be upset. I’ll save half for her–make sure you take it to her, okay?”
Rachel hadn’t realized Cersei had left. She posted the photo on Instagram, then tried to send the picture to Cersei’s chat.

But instead of sending, a red exclamation mark appeared.
“Cersei blocked me? Louis! What did you do to piss her off this time?”
Louis scoffed at his Rachel’s question.
“I didn’t do anything. She left on her own.”
He pulled out the divorce papers. Back home, he hadn’t thought much of it. But now facing the woman he’d wanted for so long. Louis couldn’t help but speak in a low voice.
“Rachel, isn’t this perfect? Cersei wanted the divorce herself. Now that she’s gone, we finally have a chance to be together. No more pretending to be siblings–just like during our trip.”
As he spoke, he moved closer. Rachel’s face filled with panic as Louis backed her into a corner.
“Louis, we’re siblings… they’ll never approve of this.”
Her protest faded as Louis pressed against her. Just like when they were alone during their trip, acting like real lovers–sleeping in each other’s arms every night, kissing without worrying about others‘ judgment, even having sex.
Louis grabbed her wrist and pinned it against the wall. His eyes were red with desire as he kissed her fiercely.
“I told you–for you, I don’t give a damn if the family disowns me!”
