She simply hadn’t expected it. Flow could he find her? And besides, why was he searching for her?
Was it possible that Olivia was in critical condition?
Thinking about it, her forehead furrowed deeply. She remained silent and simply looked at Nathan, who was walking in her direction.
Finally, he stopped in front of her and noticed the bowl of noodles on the table.
“Finish the noodles, and let’s go home?”
Stella was laughing coldly inside. Apparently, Olivia really had something wrong with her, so he even searched for her.
Isabela closed the door and returned to the dining room. She felt that the atmosphere was extremely strange. She looked at the two of them but couldn’t quite figure out the situation, though she could tell these two were not in a superficial relationship.
Stella ate the noodles intentionally very, very slowly. She thought Nathan would get angry or pull her away without saying anything. After all, was Olivia really that important to him? However Nathan didn’t do any of that. He stood aside and waited for her to finish.
Stella looked at Nathan’s appearance. He seemed to express that if she didn’t want to leave, he wouldn’t leave either… She couldn’t disturb or bother Isabela, so she quickly finished eating.
“Thank you for your hospitality, Dr. Isabela!”
Isabela was still guessing their relationship when she nodded and remembered something.
“Remember to buy the burn ointment. Your legs were frozen.”
“Got it!”
Stella could feel Nathan’s eyes on her legs when Isabela said that.
At that moment, Isabela’s clothes and shoes were on her body, and she followed Nathan downstairs.
His car was parked downstairs. She opened the door and got in, leaning back in the seat and closing her eyes.
Anyway, when they arrived at the hospital, Nathan would wake her up, so now she simply slept.
She felt very tired and felt that being with this man in this narrow space was suffocating. Nathan drove the car back to the Collins family’s house, and Stella was probably so tired that she didn’t wake up when they arrived.
He opened the backseat door, extended his hand, and was about to wake her up. However, when he put his hand on her shoulder, he paused for a moment, took the opportunity to carry her to the room.
At the house, because of her concern for Stella, Anna, just like before, stayed in the living room waiting for news. When she saw Stella, she was just relieved. At first, she wanted to say a few words to Nathan, but seeing the sleepy Stella, she didn’t want to wake
her.
Nathan carried Stella upstairs to the bedroom, placed her on the bed helped her take off her shoes, and put on her pajamas.
She was sleeping so deeply that she didn’t wake up during the process.

Chapter 42
When he helped cover Stella with the blanket, he saw that her legs were red from the freezing, and even now, they didn’t seem warm again; they were still cold.
His eyes were blurry. He used he hand to touch both of her legs for while, then bent down to grab the medical kit box.
The Collins family’s medical kit was filled with all kinds of medicine and naturally, it also had cold burn ointment. He lowered her legs and carefully applied the ointment. This time, Stella really woke up slowly, also realizing that Nathan was helping her treat the frostbite. However, she didn’t open her eyes or make any moves.
Because she didn’t want to face this man.
It wasn’t until Nathan released her legs and tidied up the medical kit that he took her clothes to the bathroom to take a shower. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling.
She felt that in this life, she could never truly think and understand early what Nathan’s way of thinking was.
She would have preferred if he were like before–distant and indifferent to her, not paying attention, or ridiculing and mocking her, which would also be fine. But now, sometimes he showed a bit of care for her. Her tolerance wasn’t great, so she couldn’t accept the affection he sometimes gave so easily.
