“You are already divorced, what else can you have to do with her? Fredrica expressed her unhappiness as she knew Pamela was looking for me.
I glanced at the phone screen for a moment.
“Pamela has never been willing to talk to me. This time, she personally called me. Something important must have happened. I need to go and see what she wants,”
Despite her dissatisfaction, Fredrica still dropped me off at the meeting place.
When I entered, Pamela had already arrived and was sitting upright in her chair.

Helen stepped forward.
“Miss Stewart, since you and Mr. Harvey have already divorced, you should make a decision regarding child support.”
“The child? She is mine. Of course, I will take care of her,” I replied without hesitation.
“Do not forget, that child is also my granddaughter!” Pamela coldly reminded me, her drooping eyelids exuding disdain for my ignorance.
I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Mrs. Blanchel actually acknowledges that you have a granddaughter. That’s rare!”
From the moment Iris was born until now, Pamela had never even held her.
Every time she faced Iris, she wore the same expression of indifference, as if Iris were just a pet in the family.

“Now that I have enough financial resources to support Iris, I have given her the most and she is the most dependent on me. Do you still think there is no chance of winning this, Helen?”

On the other end, Jenny’s voice revealed joy.
