The Alpha’s Borrowed Luna
Journey to Ravenhollow
Heat flooded my face at his crude words, but to my horror, it wasn’t just embarrassment I felt. Something deep and primal stirred within me–my wolf responding to his dominance. in ways my human mind rejected.
My body grew restless with a new tension, my cheeks flushing deeper as an unfamiliar heat spread through me. Between my thighs, I felt a relentless pulse.
Without checking, I knew I was already wet for him–a humiliating betrayal of my own
body.
What’s wrong with me? This man was dangerous. He had all but purchased me. I should. feel nothing but revulsion.
The car slowed as we approached a checkpoint. Kaius’s hand retreated from my thigh,
though his arm remained firmly around my shoulders.
The door opened, and a tall, lean man with silver–blond hair peered in. I recognized him immediately–Frost, Kaius’s Beta.
“Welcome, Luna,” he said, his ice–blue eyes assessing me with cool detachment before.
sliding to Kaius. Whatever silent communication passed between them, it was over in seconds. Frost nodded once and closed the door, though I noticed he didn’t leave. Instead,
he slid into the front passenger seat as the car resumed its journey.
I seized the opportunity to shift slightly away from Kaius, though his arm
remained around me. The presence of his Beta in the car provided a small buffer–surely
he wouldn’t continue his advances with Frost so near.
The journey continued for hours, the landscape changing from the familiar forests of Mistwood to more rugged, mountainous terrain. Kaius kept me pressed against his side. the entire time, his thumb occasionally stroking my shoulder in a gesture that seemed both possessive and absent–minded.
As twilight descended, the car turned onto a winding road that climbed steadily upward. At the peak of a mountain stood a sprawling mansion of dark stone and glass, its windows glowing with warm light against the darkening sky.
*Ravenhollow,” Kaius announced as the car approached the imposing structure.

Ravenhollow
Unlike the traditional pack house I’d grown up in, this was a display of wealth and powe Sleek and contemporary, the glass and steel structure still managed to command the mountaintop with the imposing presence of an ancient fortress.
As we drew closer, I could see wolves moving about the grounds. They paused as our ca passed, heads turning, eyes following our progress with undisguised curiosity. I shrank deeper into the seat, suddenly conscicum of my worn dress and simple appearance.
“You would be expected to look presentable at events and for conferences at all times; they would be wondering who you are, Kaius murmured, as if reading my thoughts. “Fe not; I already have that covered; Ill be selecting some suitable clothes for you, but your not need to worry about being like this, seeing how I would be tearing them all off you.
My cheeks burned at his crude reminder of what awaited me.
The car came to a smooth stop at the base of wide stone steps leading to massive doubi doors. A servant opened the diont, howing low as Kaius emerged, then offering a hand to help me out.
I felt horribly exposed as I stapped from the car, acutely aware of the dozens of eyes watching from windows and doorways. Pack members lined the entrance, all dropping their gazes submissively ass Kaius approached, but their curious eyes followed me the stranger, the unknown female at their Alpha’s side.
I felt like a kitten amongst a pack of wolves.
Kaius’s hand at the small of my back guided me up the steps and through the inpussing entrance:. The intention was as impressive as the exterior-all dark wood,,stone;, anul gleaming glass.. Antwork that looked ancient and priceless adorned the walls, anditthe furnishings spuite off cild money and refined taste.
We moved through the grand entrance hall and up a sweeping staircase;, thumduwm corridons: lined with more artwork and antique furniture. Each step took me dhuperiinto Kaius’s domin, further from anything familiar.
“Where are you taking me to?” I asked, struggling to keep up with his long strilles.
“My personal space,” he replied, his hand never leaving the smalll off my buck.
Wie passed through another corridor before stopping at an imposing duum. Kaius pushed

open to reveal an expansive office. Floor–to–ceiling windows showcased a breathtaking view of mountains stretching to the horizon, now silhouetted against the sunset.
“Take a seat,” he instructed, gesturing to a chair in front of a massive desk.
I perched on the edge of the seat, my hands clasped tightly in my lap to hide their trembling. This was it–the moment I would learn exactly what I’d gotten myself into..
Kaius settled into his chair behind the desk, his posture relaxed yet commanding. “Do you want anything to drink or eat? It was a long drive after all.”
The sudden courtesy caught me off guard. “No, I am okay.”
He nodded, his expression shifting to something more businesslike. “Now down to why we are here.”
From a drawer, he withdrew a thick document bound in leather. He placed it on the desk between us, sliding it toward me with one finger.
“You talked about… signing some- I began hesitantly.
“Contract,” he finished for me. “Yes, and that’s what you would do, but just as I said, if you don’t agree to it, then you are free to return back to your pack.”
We both knew the offer was empty. There was no going back to Mistwood now, not after everything that had happened. Even if I could somehow return, Dorian would make my life a living hell.
“Open it,” Kaius commanded.
With trembling fingers, I untied the leather binding and opened the document.
“Now read it out loud,” he instructed, leaning back in his chair, his eyes never leaving my face.
I cleared my throat and began reading, my voice barely above a whisper.
“This is an agreement between the ‘contractee‘ Kaius Valerian and the ‘contractor‘ Elowen Thorne.” I paused, surprised. How did he know my full name? I’d never told him.
I continued, “The duration of this contract is a year–twelve months–if agreed by both

parties.
“A year is more than I can handle,” I whispered, more to myself than to him.
His eyes flashed. “You have a problem with the timeframe?”
I surprised myself by challenging him. “Three months.”
Kaius’s jaw tightened, the only sign that my negotiation irritated him. “Nine months.”
“Six months, I persisted, heart hammering in my chest.
He studied me for a long moment, then nodded. “Agreed. Move on.”
I blinked, shocked he’d conceded anything. I turned back to the document with slightly steadier hands.
“The contractor is not allowed to reject any gifts from the contractee, and adding to that, the contractor would only dress in clothes provided by the contractee.”
I swallowed hard and continued, my cheeks burning as I read aloud, “The contractor is not allowed to be sexually intimate with anyone not approved by the contractee.”
The next paragraph made me falter. “The contractor consents to… to satisfying the contractee’s sexual need whenever and wherever it is requested.” I couldn’t look at him as I read the rest. “And in return, the contractor will not hesitate to
let the contractee know when she needs her sexual desires fulfilled.”
I could feel Kaius’s eyes on me, watching my discomfort with obvious enjoyment.
“The contractor shall not break this contract for any reason else; she stands to be punished by the contractee in any way he seems fit,” I finished, my voice barely audible.
