Their posture didn’t help either there were a few too many doubts.
She immediately reflexively retreated several steps, but behind her was the sofa. During her frantic movement, she almost tripped over the sofa post and fell to the floor, and Nathan reached out to wrap his arms around her waist and pulled her back.
“How can you be so clumsy?” His tone sounded a little helpless.
Stella felt that his hand on her waist was like scalding metal and burned her skin.
She was afraid of this kind of feeling, so she pulled her hands away from her waist.
“Stella, what do you really want to do?”
“Get your hands off me!”
She was focused on struggling to free herself from his grip, but she forgot her situation, and Nathan looked at her beautiful face
“Do you really want me to let you go?” He asked, and she nodded without the slightest hesitation, and Nathan actually let go of her
hand.
She realized that she was so unstable that when Nathan let go, she fell to the ground.
Stella really thought she was going to fall, so she screamed softly.
But in the end she didn’t fall, because Nathan pulled her up. Only his movement was too sudden, so his steps weren’t really steady either, they both still fell on top of the sofa.
Stella felt Nathan’s heavy body pressing her against the sofa, she could hardly breathe, so she struggled strongly for a while.
“Nathan, get up.”
Regarding her struggling action and her attitude towards him, Natham really didn’t feel satisfied, he grabbed both her hands.
“Stella, what are you doing?”
Stella didn’t really know what she was doing either, but now if Nathan leaned towards her and approached her, her subconscious would resist. Because every time that happened, an image of Nathan and Olivia together appeared in her mind, and she felt, maybe a second ago, that he was hugging Olivia, there would still be a trace of her scent.
She didn’t want to be in an embrace that belonged to another woman.
She would feel disgusted, she really did.
As a child, she grew up seeing this, with her, father, Jorge, because he had a woman at home, but he also had her mother outside. At the time, she thought that men’s promises were very reckless and false, and that they hardly kept their promises.
She also swore that she wouldn’t follow the same path in life as Fernanda, but now it seems that she is already on the same path. Only she was in a derent role, like Fernanda, and Stella really didnt want to be in that kind of condition, but for Liam’s sake, she had to do it.

Stella pushed Nathan away and went quickly to the headboard.
Liam’s little body moved, his little hand clenched into a fist.
“Liam, are you awake?”
“Mommy…” Liam called out to her, but he still hadn’t opened his eyes.
“Mom’s here, Liam. Are you okay? Are you in pain?”
Liam finally opened his eyes gradually, looked at his parents, who were standing in front of his bed, and they both looked emotional.
“I’ll call the doctor.”
Nathan turned his body to leave, and after a few minutes, he returned with doctor Zyan, who carried out some tests on Liam.
Before leaving, he looked at them both deeply, and especially told them that their son’s mood was very much influenced by their parents‘ mood, so they should be aware and not result in the same situation as this.
Perhaps this simply told them that, even if they were pretending, they needed to be affectionate in front of him.
When the doctor spoke to them, Anna had also just arrived at the hospital, and called them both in for a chat.
“Nathan and Stella, I’m not going to live long, and all I want is for my great–grandson to have a chance at life.” Her face was full of dignity and a stern expression, and then she looked at Nathan. “Liam is your son, so can you give him a chance to stay alive?”
“Grandma…” Nathan’s voice was a little hoarse. “Liam will certainly get better. “Anna waved her hand.
“I’m not asking you to cut off your messy relationship with Olivia, but even though you pretend, can you pretend to be more real?”
She asked, and Nathan just nodded, and his grandmother, without any encouragement, nodded and walked towards the bedroom.
Liam stayed in the hospital for two days, and his mood was already improving, and because of the ease with which she was able to take care of him, Nathan and Stella basically stayed in the hospital as well. Even though Nathan didn’t go to his office, he finished his work at the hospital.
If there were urgent matters, Marlon would come and discuss them with him.
Stella also didn’t know if he really cared and valued Liam all of a sudden, or if he just listened to his grandmother’s word that, even if it was a joke, it was better to pretend realistically.
Only on those two days, Liam was stubborn, he didn’t say anything to him. However, Nathan was also unfamiliar with how to deal with a small child, so the relationship between father and son was so rigid.
But Stella didn’t really talk to him either, basically in that room, he just did his own thing, and Stella and Liam just ignored him.
And since this Victor was abroad all the time, Stella knew he was busy with his work. She didn’t want to disturb his work either, anyway Liam was on good terms now, so she didn’t tell him either.
But she just didn’t know how he could know about Ljam’s condition when he unexpectedly took a flight back in a hurry. The moment after he took off, he rushed straight, to the hospital. The moment he showed up, Stella was surprised.
He hadn’t even changed his clothes or put his luggage away.
