Chapter 32
Stella’s face showed no change of mood, she was very calm because om the beginning she had understood the ending, just as Carla
had said.
“Carla, you don’t have to worry, because I never wanted to be with Nathan, not in the past, certainly not now, and nor will I want to be in the future. And I know my place, I know that I will never belong to this family, and since Nathan came back, he and I have agreed that when Liam recovers, we will divorce and then he can be with Olivia.”
Stella smiled as she spoke, and then faced Carla.
“I think you know what I mean, so if there’s no other business, I’ll go inside, it’s very cold out here.” Stella replied, and soon after, she entered the mansion.
There was no point in talking too much, she just needed to explain her thoughts, and whether Carla would believe her or not, it didn’t matter, because she didn’t want anything to do with that family and she didn’t need their blessing either.
All along she had known what Nathan and she would end up with, so she didn’t need everyone to remind her of that, so when she entered the realtor’s office, she felt an enormous weight on her back, and then everything around her became slightly unstable, so Stella just closed her eyes and rested.
After five minutes, she caught her breath and returned to Liam’s room.
“Mom, is everything okay?” Liam hadn’t taken his eyes off the door, so when he saw his mother come in, he felt a little uncomfortable. “Grandma didn’t do anything to you, did she?”
“I’m fine, darling.” Stella smiled, after all, she needed to show Liam that everything was fine, even though she felt a slight pressure in her chest, as if she was about to have a panic attack.
“And what did she want?” Liam wanted to know a little more.
“She just wanted to know about your treatment, if everything was all right, that’s all darling.” Stella lied.
“But I just remembered that Uncle Victor invited us to dinner, so shall we get ready?”
Liam quickly forgot about it and got ready for dinner.
In the evening, after dinner, Victor took mother and son home, and on the way, Liam fell asleep in Stella’s arms.
When they got home, Victor opened the door and took Liam from Stella’s lap so that she could go downstairs, and then gave the sleeping child back to her.
“Victor, you have to go, it’s almost time for your flight, I don’t want you to be late because of me.” Stella looked at the time and worried,
“Yes, I’ll go, but Stella, if you have any problems whatsoever, please call me, I swear I’ll rush back here!” Victor was still smiling warmly, and Stella just nodded.
The next second, a car drove up to them, and because of the headlight, she was completely blinded, and the window ajar, exposing Nathan’s face, and Victor saw this, but didn’t say anything.
“All right, come in for the serene Liam.”
Stella then waved to Victor, who got into his car and drove away, and then she passed through the courtyard, and just as she was about to look for the key, the door was opened by Nathan, who

Chapter 32
Nathan didn’t say anything, Tint just reached out and took Liam from her lap, and then went inside the mansion and up the stairs
towards Liam’s room.
As Nathan went to take Liam te his room, Stella went to the bedroom to change, and when she came out of the bathroom, she saw Nathan, sitting on the armchair facing the window, sipping his usualry wine.
Anyway, her and Nathan’s interaction was always like this, so Stella didn’t say anything, and when she went to the bed, she saw a huge dark blue box on top of it.
Stella remained silent, somewhat pensive, and moved to pick up the box. She originally wanted to put it on the bedside table, after all, she hadn’t bought anything, so it should belong to Nathan, and he didn’t want to go through his things, but a deep voice sounded in the room.
