Liam was truly intelligent and so sensitive, but Stella didn’t want to overthink at noch a young age to deter hand o stroke his little head.
“They’re friends, that lady is a friend of Daddy’s
“But she bullied you.”
“She didn’t bully me…”
“She bullied you,” Liam’s face was very stubborn. “She used her wine to wet your clothes. And she also wanted to push you Genet She’s a bad person… Mommy, I’ll protect you, I won’t let anyone bully you.” Liam hugged stella.
“Mommy knows, just as she knows Liam has always been strong, brave, and capable.” Stella was so moved that she said.
After finishing helping Liam, she took his hand and led him downstairs.
“Momgry, I want to see Daddy, I also want to tell him I didn’t push that auntie.”
“Wait until he gets home, we’ll tell him then, okay?”
“Okay.”
Downstairs in the dining room, during breakfast, Nathan and Carla were not present.
At the dining table, only Filippo and Anna were seated.
Anna looked in a foul mood, as though she was about to explode. But when she looked at Liam, she held back her emotions.
For two consecutive days, Nathan hadn’t returned home, supposedly staying at the hospital with Olivia.
In these two days, the news headlines had been about the event that took place during the Collins family’s annual gathering. The coverage was written in an extraordinary and sensational way. They didn’t omit the details of Stella’s past–an arranged marriage following a pregnancy and her success in joining the Collins family.
Of course, all of them were criticizing Stella.
Although the Collins family had used their best efforts to suppress the spread of the story, there were too many people at the party, and the reporters were numerous as well. So, it couldn’t be stopped.
Initially, in the eyes of many in the city, Stella was seen as a reserved and unscrupulous woman. But now, without a doubt, people also saw her as ruthless.
The public leaned toward Olivia’s side.
They praised Olivia even more, saying that for love, she gave up her career and business, leaving the entertainment world behind. Over the years, she had quietly stayed by Nathan’s side. Yet, they hadn’t expected her to be unable to avoid Stella’s cruel attack.
Stella left Liam’s rand, as she was about to head downstairs, heard Anna’s angry voice.
“Simply rubbish! Don’t these reporters have any baseline? They don’t even understand the truth and yet speak nonsense.” She glanced at the newspaper on the coffee table, her cane knocking against the carpet.
Because she was so agitated, she didn’t finish her sentence and started coughing intensely.

Seeing this, Filippo immediately stepped forward to support her and guided her to sit down.
“Mom, take care of your health. Don’t get so emotional.”
Stella quickly poured a glass of water and brought it to the living ton.
“Grandma, drink some water.”
She approached her grandmother and gently patted her back to calm her down.
Anna gradually settled and nodded at her. She pulled Stella down to it beside her. Initially, she wanted to say something, but upon seeing the newspaper, she reached out and placed it face down.
Stella smiled but didn’t say anything.
Anna felt bitterness; how could she not understand? Anna worried that if Stella saw the news, she would feel distressed.
But after two days of such talk, how could Stella not already know?
Stella truly didn’t take it to heart.
Just yesterday, while on the phone with Caroline, when Caroline asked about it, she merely gave a vague explanation.
This sort of issue wasn’t new to her. Four years ago, at only twenty years old, she had also become the subject of hot gossip. Back then, she endured it; how could she not now?
“Ella…” Anna held Stella’s hand. “Have you seen Nathan these past two days?”
“No!” Stella shook her head and replied honestly.
Carla had just returned and sat down in the living room at this moment.
“Mother–in–law, Olivia is truly pitiful. She not only lost her child but nearly lost her life. When she realized what she wanted to do it was too late. Nathan staying in the hospital was a given…” Carla raised her head and glanced at Stella as she spoke.
But Carla hadn’t finished her sentence when Anna interrupted her immediately.
“Why? You keep defending that second–rate model, and anyone who doesn’t know better might think she’s your real daughter!” Anna’s cold eyes glared at Carla.
Hearing this, Carla’s beautiful face immediately soured. She turned her head to look at Filippo, and husband and wife exchanged glances for a moment.
“I know all of you think Olivia was pushed by Ella–ridiculous. It was clear that woman fell because of her own carelessness, but now she’s blaming and slandering others…” Anna pointed at Carla
“Mom, you can’t say that…” Carla exclaimed in surprise.
“Am I wrong?” Anna cast a sidelong glance at her. “The bar had cameras, and I’ve already asked someone to retrieve the footage. Soon enough, the truth will be clear! I don’t believe for a second that Ella or Liam would do such a thing!”
“Mom, it’s also possible Olivia didn’t fall on her own. She knew she was pregnant–do you think she intended to fall?”
“Of course, she wouldn’t be foolish enough to harm herself willingly. It wasn’t easy for her to conceive a child. Why would she torment herself on purpose?” Anna let out a cold laugh. “She just didn’t expect to fall accidentally. That woman was filled with

hatred and careless enough to lose her child. Naturally, she wouldn’admit it, so she shifted the blame onto Ella.”
“Mom, you shouldn’t say things like that. Olivia was carrying a child of the Collins family…”
