Chapter 79
Nathan finished his pasta, put own his cutlery and took her hand to let her sit next to him.
“Stella, do you have any questions for me?”
“I do.” Stella nodded and looked at him. “Have the problems been solved?”
“It’s solved.”
“Then it’s good.” It was the answer she expected to hear, since she’d already heard it, so she had nothing more to ask.
She just stood up and picked up the plate and cutlery, then went into the kitchen to wash them.
Nathan came in, stood behind her and hugged her shoulder.
“Don’t you want to know who did it?”
Stella shrugged, because she knew the answer, and she had told him and he didn’t believe her. She just knew that what she assumed was right.
“I know.” She put the clean plate down to dry, and wasn’t used to the way Nathan hugged her shoulder, so she pushed his arms away and left the kitchen.

Stella brought the milk and sat down on the bed, and Nathan also returned to the bedroom.
