“I was out for a good eight or nine hours! Fell asleep just before midnight and woke up around nine today?” Seth thinks back, as 1 instantly begin to count how many hours from now nine would be.
“So if I take one right now I should be back up at around six or seve tonight?” I confirm, knowing that this was the time frame the girls would be beginning their exit.
Anthony sighs, nodding. “Yeah but we won’t hear from them until after then too – you should wake up for them getting in contact before they are brought here.” Anthony adds, as I hum and think on it.

I could feel the exhaustion laying heavily on my shoulders my ming growing sluggish a kid high on sugar.
I can’t keep pushing myself on like this, with my eye bags practically screaming and begging for me to let them rest. I looked dreadful and I felt it too!
“Ok fine! I’ll be in the foom, but make sure that things don’t go to sit when I’m under – I’m trusting you both!” I warn, as they both nod and seem relieved at my response.
Clearly they can tell just how much I needed a rest which only made matters more concerning. If everybody around me is begging for me to sleep then it must be clear just how much I was actually struggling – running on sheer drive and adrenaline!
“Here take this!” Seth adds, tossing me a bottle of water as I catch it and crack the lid off – placing mouth before washing it back without another word.

It’s done. I’ll be forced to rest now even if I don’t want to… but it’s for the best.
With a final nod, I turned and headed in to my assigned room in Kions mansion, locking the door and windows for my own privacy knowing that Seth and Anthony had the spare key to the room in an event of an emergency (which was a procedure we always stuck to whenever we travelled).
I removed my shirt, trousers and sneakers before pulling back the thick duvet cover – climbing under to prepare myself for my forced nap.
This had to be done… I recognise that… since I wouldn’t be any use to anyone without getting some sleep. I had done everything I could at this point to get Tessa back and now it was in the hands of someone else to make the first move for us.
It was the safest option – despite the fact that I didn’t like handing over control to someone else but in this case, it was for the best.
Of course I was worried sick about the millions of things that could go wrong in the operation caught in the escape – but I couldn’t let those thoughts consume me

I was only driving myself mad at this point, by worrying over a variety of different scenarios that most of which would never even come true.
I just didn’t want to lose another important female in my life… not after losing my first mate to the virus… Tessa was the only spark I had found since then and I wasn’t willing to give that up!
All I wanted was to see Tessa to tell her how sorry I am for giving her the silent treatment as a cruel she had acted at that shitty festival back home.

None of it mattered now. All that mattered was that she was safe and alive – back with me where she originally belonged.

Chapter 130
The poor thing probably thinks that I hate her too and that I don’t want anything to do with her, which was the part that crushed me the most.
Tessa was trapped in there without the slightest bit of hope of me ever coming back to find her.

But little does she know that I’m trying that I’m right here in Russia and ready to strike and do whatever it takes to get her back. I’ll stop at nothing to bring her back to me and soon enough, she will know that.
With my thoughts continuing to swirl around like a tornado withiny messy and tired head, I felt my muscles slowly begin to loosen up as the pill began to take full effect.
My muscles relaxed, including my eyes as they slowly began to slide losed as 1 fought to stay awake but found myself growing far too tired and out of controla

My breathing slowed ever so slightly, as I tuned in to the soft whistles of the wind from outside using it as a lullaby to send me off in to my dream state
It was working…
And with one last thought of seeing Tessa shortly after I wake, I fell fully under the spell of the sleeping pill and knew that it was the best thing to do for mine and everyone’s sake…
