We were to leave with him after dinner? To go where exactly?
There was now so many unanswered questions already as my temperature rose and my palms grew sweaty as my imagination spiralled out of control.
“What do we do Tess? He’s a sicko! He could do anything to us out there! Erin leans in closer to whisper, sharing her faxes for wheat our futures hold.
“W–We… we might have to try and escape Erin…” I finally admit aloud, as Erin gasps loudly and gains a few stares from some females nearby as 1 hush her.
“Don’t say that! You know what will happen to us if we even dare to run! These creatures are taught to hunt that’s what they do Erin scolds my idea, knowing that any females who don’t obey by the rules back home are punished accordingly thanugh death
Anybody seen to run is seen as a rebel to the leaders and therefore it is easier for them to just have us killed… it sets an and keeps order.
But we aren’t back home – not anymore.

“That’s back home… maybe the rules are different around here… maybe they will just leave us out there to die in the cold conditions and even then we might stand a better chance? I mean, maybe they won’t even notice that we are gone too…” I ramble aloud, as Erin shakes her head and chews her thumb nail anxiously.
She was scared and rightfully so, as this wasn’t an easy decision to make… but right now, I couldn’t help but believe that it was crucial for our survival!
“Erin look, maybe he is planning to kill us tonight anyway? Why else would he take us out of here with him? I wouldn’t put it past him to do that after what he did to me yesterday! What if it’s a choice between us running and taking a chance or us getting killed by him in the end anyway? We at least need to try to escape from here before it’s too late!” I argue my point, as Erin closes her eyes over to think on my words.
“This isn’t like you Tessa! This is a bold decision! I don’t know what to do…” Erin breathes out, usually the more confident of us both but seeming to crumble under these harrowing circumstances.
“I’m not happy here and I never will be and I know that you feel the same Erin. What happened to me with that guard yesterday broke my soul, and I realised then that things were only set to get much worse for us both here. It’s a choice of whether we stay and settle for our current fate or we try to do something about it… we don’t know what or who might be out there… maybe they aren’t all that bad around here and we could find help? We have to at least try!” I finish, feeling sick at the thought of breaking any rules but also knowing that we have to do what’s right for us both,
Our lives were potentially on the line here whether we liked it or not!
This place was hell – plain and simple and I was fully prepared to do whatever it takes to get us both home (wherever home was)…
Erin seems to think on my words, as I could practically see the clocks turning from inside of her head… with a brief silence falling
between us.

Chapter 133
“Ok… Ok fine… I trust you… But what’s your plan?!” Erin finally concludes, her voice shaky and uncertain but her words agreeing with the idea nonetheless.
For that, I was grateful, as I woldn’t know what to do if she was too against the idea and decide to see it out. I wouldn’t be able to leave her behind we come as a duo, always!
“We won’t be able to make a strong plan since we don’t know where he will be t–taking us, but if an opportunity to run arises, then we have to go as fast as our feet will carry us without hesitation!” I explain, finding a little confidence in my voice that I hadn’t ever heard from myself before.
Erin nods, seeming terrified, as I know that we were already running out of time to talk things through… with dinner coming to an end in a few minutes from now.
