It wasn’t far, and after a brief sence we got there in no time, parking up in the visitor entrance to find the headmistress Margot Felicity waiting under a small shelter to shield herself from the rain
I didn’t like her – for the way she had been caught speaking to and treating the humans – however this was their job. Keeping everyone in line and preparing the girls to know their place amongst us temperamental wolves.
Cutting the engine, we climb out, rushing towards the entrance, as her tight smile is forced to widen at seeing us both approach.
“How did you find the trial period then, Alpha? With our Tessa was? She ponders with an odd look, before opening up the door to bring us inside – greeted by warmth and the smell of fresh paint.
–
They had clearly gotten round to decorating these past two weeks by the looks of the flashy white walls and newly hanged frames.
“We completely understand if you may not want to keep Tessa around now… and don’t be shy to tell us that either. She can be a difficult one at the best of times!” She decides to speak out once again since I had ignored her first question, leading us both in to a meeting room as my attention was suddenly piqued by her words.
What does she mean by that statement?
Was there a side to Tessa that I hadn’t yet unraveled?
From what I had seen thus far, she was nothing more than a mousy shy human with some trust issues… but was it all just an act? It can’t be! I would’ve seen through it…
“Oh you know… please come in and take a seat – get comfy!” She pauses, holding the door for us both to come inside her office to sit down.
“No I don’t know what you mean. Please continue?” I push her, as she gets comfortable opposite from us both and places her elbows on the light wood table.
“Well Alpha, you seen the way she turned up to the judgement day her very first one too at that?! I was surprised that you had even selected her number – I thought it was a typo! It was a complete rebellion and if you hadn’t had saved her that day then she would have been punished for it accordingly!” Margo concludes, blunt and dry as she again shows her distaste for the females she was put in charge of. 1
Is that all she has to go off of? Because Tessa didn’t look pristine on her first judgement day like the others?
From what I have gathered, the whole incident was completely out of her control that day.
–
“Did you even know that the other students had attacked her? Minutes before the judgement bell rang? She had to report to the hall in that state or the punishment would have been far worse if she would have missed it – am I wrong?!” I snap, sudde need to defend Tessa after having got to the bottom of why she looked how she did that day (despite not being hap
feeling the now but she doesn’t need to know about that).

With that, Seth clears his throat and shuffles in his chair and Margos left speechless – opening and closing her mouth like a fish out of water.
“Oh… uh… well I don’t believe that none of the other ladies here would act that way! Not on my watch!” She straightens herself up as I can’t help but scoff.
“Well you better believe it because that’s the truth on what happened. It actually sounds to me that it’s bullies you’re training in this centre opposed to pristine humans Margo.” I wave a hand and state, my tone clipped and intended to be rude as her jaw gapes.
She’s shocked? I can’t see why… for being called out for the first time in her life?

“With respect sir, I’ll have this looked into right away because I do not want that to be true and if it is then rest assured that it will be dealt with properly!” She states, as I refrain from rolling my eyes at the promise.
I didn’t like this woman, yet she was crucial in Anthony being approved to have a trial with Erin which was unfortunate. Until then, I’ll have to suck it up and smile… or at least try to.
“Anyway, how may I help you both today? Are we signing the document to keep Tessa permanently then? You also said you had an incident with Erin’s suitor is that right?” Margo pulls out some paperwork, as she sorts through the files and finds notes about what she knows on Erin’s situation.
Here we go then…
