Chapter 12
Gemini’s POV
“Oh my… this is so tiring,” I whined, collapsing on the bed like I had no hope at all.
I had been pacing back and forth in my walk–in wardrobe for more than an hour now,
all
a
ts to find a nice and comfortable dress, unsuccessful.
He said we would go through the formalities today, and yet he was nowhere to be seen, neither did he send anyone to help me pick out a dress that would appeal to his so–called perfectionist parents.
I sighed and rolled my eyes inwardly- not like I had plans to please them anyway.
I just want to get the fuck out of this house, this Kingdom and this life that the Lycan King had forced me into. I just want to go home- I flapped my leg on the bed like a grumbling child.
I picked up my phone, my fingers sliding through the screen like a practised move. “I can’t find anything I like, I need help !!!” The exclamation mark seemed ordering, also making it sound like I was screaming at him.
I can’t send that to him… I could get in trouble for that.
exchanged the exclamation with a full stop and for the next thirty minutes, I kept staring into my phone, hoping to receive his reply.
The message had already ticked twice, which meant he was online, but probably too busy to be dealing with me.
My eyes soon became weak from staring, and they slowly began to close.
About forty–five minutes later, I woke up to the faint sound of my ringtone. “Hello,” I said into the phone, my tone dreamy.
“I would send someone to give you my black card. Buy anything you find appealing.” Before I could even say my reply, his voice vanished into the thin air.
I scoffed as I threw my phone recklessly on the bed.
In less than ten minutes, the card was delivered to me.
My phone vibrated on the bed, followed by the sound of iny ringtone. “I’ve gotten the card, thanks.” I said immediately I answered the call.
“Go get your dress immediately, they will be here soon.” He said plainly.
“Got it!” I replied but my reply was caught up with the beep that indicated the end of the call.
Jerk: You could have texted me instead.
He said to be a classic version of myself… I recalled with a wide grin as I stood in front of a fancy store with expensive–looking designer hoodies on display. The shop’s glass windows showcased rows of luxurious outfits meant for those who belonged here–not someone like me. But I was gonna go in anyway.
“You’re not about to wear a hoodie and pants to meet his perfectionist parents are you?” Elsie, my wolf, was in as much disbelief as anyone else
would be.
