Chapter 3
Gemini’s POV
“Ouch! My head hurts.” I whispered, holding my head as I forced myself back to reality.
“What did you expect after having that much drink?” An unfamiliar voice said right beside me. That’s not mom, neither is it Gavin
Where the fuck am I And who did I spend the night with?
My eyes still felt heavy but I forced them open.
As my eyes adjusted to the dim light. I took in my surroundings. I was in a small, cosy room with unfamiliar furniture. A gentle breeze rustled the curtains, carrying the scent of wildflowers.
The stranger’s voice came from beside me. “Easy Have this- for your bead” He said handing me some pills
I turned to face him, and my heart skipped a beat
A handsome, rugged–looking man with piercing blue eyes and chiselled features gazed back at me.
Yes, he was handsome, but he didn’t look friendly at all and I couldn’t help but get scared. Please, Goddess, tell me he didn’t touch me.
I looked underneath the blanket to confirm if he had truly violated me.
“Don’t flatter yourself- If I had fucked you, you would still feel the heat between your legs
True.
Absolutely true.
I mean, look how big he is. He’s like six feet five inches, so you can imagine what he’d be like down there.
I shook my head as if shaking off the stupid thoughts playing at the back of my head.
Looking down at him suspiciously, I asked. “So how did I get into a robe? Did you..”
“I had the room service give you a bath and dress you in a robe. Your clothes are over there, dress up and leave.”
“If I may ask…. who are you and why did you bring me here if you weren’t interested in sleeping with me?” I stammered, trying to recall the events of the previous night.
The man who saved your life.” He replied, his tone icy.
“Excuse me?”
“You were drunk, you ran into my car, I saved you you spilt your gut out on me and tried seducing me to fuck you.”
Now that I know the details, I feel so embarrassed.
I clenched the blanket harder, my cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “I’m. I’m really sorry sir. I. I was going through an emotional breakdown.”
“I promise to make it up to you,” I said, attempting to apologize.
The man’s expression remained unyielding, his eyes cold.
“I don’t think anything you do can make up for this,” he said flatly. “Just freshen up and leave.”
I felt kind of stupid for how he just rejected my offer, but there again, he saved me. What would have happened if he hadn’t taken me last night?
“I’m sorry okay, I puked on you and that’s really disgusting. But you don’t have to continue with the cold demeanour.” I pleaded.
“We can talk this out. I just don’t want to be seen as ungrateful. Saving me and bringing me with you was more than enough trouble and I won’t take it for granted.”
My hand instinctively reached out to touch his shoulder.
“Trying to seduce me again!” he snapped, shrugging off my touch.

His icy tone made me recoil.
“No, I just…I’m sorry,” I stammered.
He stood up, towering over me.
“Your family must be worried about you. Get dressed and leave right away.”
I hastily gathered my clothes and dressed.
As I reached the door, I turned back to look at him again.
“Once again, Sorry and Thank you.”
“Ahh fuck!” I moaned, throwing my head backwards as he fondled my nipple.
“Are you ready to take the craziest ride of your life?” He whispered, seductively biting down on my earlobe.
I nodded severally like a kindergarten child.
Use your words, Gem!” He compelled me, his strong aura causing me to shiver.
I swallowed hard, trying to find my voice.
“Fuck me!” I growled.
“What the fuck Gem?” Gavin’s voice rang in my head, forcing me back to reality.
Gavin shook his head at me, disappointment on his face. “I don’t even know what to say to you.”
My face flushed with embarrassment as I watched him leave. “You shouldn’t have seen that,”
“Actually, I wouldn’t have if you had answered the door while I was busy banging. You got me scared, I thought you died of fever.”
“I’m fine! Can you leave now?”
He continued out and I collapsed on my bed, “Shit!”
For the past few weeks, this guy has been hunting my sleep. I just couldn’t stop dreaming about the tall, handsome and cold prince who saved me that night.
He had become my fantasy..
“Good morning Mom,” I greeted before taking a seat at the dinner.
Breakfast happened in a blur and soon, Mom was out, fulfilling her Beta duties.
Gavin who had been quiet throughout breakfast collapsed by my side as I prepared to watch some Netflix series.
I could feel his stare heavy on me and it was making me really nervous. He usually did this shit when he was trying to get me to talk about something.
And just as I expected, he popped a question. “So who is the lucky guy?”
I rolled my eyes at him, trying to play dumb. “I don’t know what you are talking about.”
“Don’t act fool with me.”
I was really bad at hiding secrets from him, same goes for him,
“Spill it Gem, Gavin pressed, his eyes locked onto mine.
I sighed, knowing I couldn’t evade him. “There’s no one,” I lied, attempting to sound convincing.
Gavin raised an eyebrow. “Don’t lie to me, sis. I’ve seen the way you’ve been spacing out lately. And that…that moaning earlier?”
My face flushed with embarrassment.

“Shut up. Gavin!”
He chuckled. “Seriously, Gem, who is he? Someone from the pack? Do I know him?”
I shook my head, trying to deflect. “No one, Gavin. Just…just my imagination, okay?”
Gavin’s expression turned sceptical.
“Imagination, huh? With a guy who makes you moan like that?”
I glared at him.
“Drop it, Gavin.”
He held up his hands.
“Fine, fine. But know this: I’ll find out eventually.”
I smiled, trying to lighten the mood. “I’m so scared.”
Gavin grinned. “You should be.”
As we bantered, my mind drifted back to him- It’s so unfortunate that I don’t even know the name of the man that’s intruding my thoughts.
بر
Gavin’s expression soon turned emotional, “Well, no matter who he is, I’m just glad he was able to take your mind off Pierre.” He said, squeezing my arm lightly.
…I just hope he wants you as much as you want him,” Gavin said, his eyes filled with concern.
I looked away, trying to mask my longing.
“Maybe he’s just a fantasy,” I whispered.
Gavin’s grip on my arm tightened.
“Or maybe he’s the one who’ll make you forget Pierre for good.”
“I guess we would never know…”
Or would we?
