They found a nice spot and she placed the blanket down. Then, Benjamin sat the boys in front of him, so she could sit beside him.
“So what have you two been up to this morning? Benjamin asked, making the boys babble back at him.
“You’ve still got it,” she muttered, having no idea how he could get them to interact so quickly with him every time.
“It’s a gift,” he boasted before turning his attention back to the boys Really, boys, that sounds fun. So mommy sang to you, what else did she do today?”
Pandora rolled her eyes, not even questioning how he knew she was singing to the boys. She started to set out their lunch as Benjamin and the boys had their talk.
“How was your morning?” he asked as they began to eat.
“It was productive but busy. I was able to give the house a good cleaning while they had a morning nap. I am going to go shopping before heading back home, so if there’s anything you need let me… she trailed off.
He smiled at her for a few seconds before replying. “There’s nothing can think of. Is Maisey still coming by today to take measurements for your dress?”
Forgetting herself for a few seconds, she groaned but tried hard to cover it with a cough. “Uh, yeah, I believe so.”
Benjamin sat up straighter and looked at her as if he was about to panic. “I know that I haven’t been a good husband over these last few months, and I’ve pretty much been neglectful of your feelings and needs, but please, baby, tell me you’re not having second thoughts?”
She shook her head, but as the panic stayed on his face, she leaned over and kissed him hard. “I love you, Benjamin, no second thoughts,” she whispered softly to him.
“Then what’s with the groan?” he asked.
“I still…” she cut herself off. “I am still…” she tried again but stopped and waved her hand down at her body.
“Sweetheart,” Benjamin called and she shook her head.
“I know, I know, it’s not a big deal, and it’s not like I was thin to start with, but I just… I feel gross.”
“You’re sexy,” Benjamin told her.
“You haven’t seen me naked since Vegas,” she replied.
“Is that t?” he asked.
She swallowed. “Sort of… Benjamin, my body is different now.”
“I know. You had two babies growing inside of you,” he stated and she rolled her eyes at his smart answer.
“Yeah and now I have stretch marks, my boobs are huge, and my clothes size is a ten. I was an eight before and nine out of ten times I didn’t feel sexy at all.”
“That was because of the asshole, and you ARE sexy. I love your stretch marks–when I have seen them–they have turned me on,” Benjamin declared to her as he hovered over her.

This time, he threaded his fingers through her hair, holding the back of her head and thoroughly kissing her. When he pulled back. she was left dazed and feeling wound up. She picked up one of the paper plates and started to fan herself, making Benjamo grin.
“Yeah, yeah, go ahead and look smug, it’s not my fault I’m still full of hormones,” she joked, making him shrug.
“I am in love with you and often feel wound up, so I’ll use anything I can, he smiled.
She snorted, but leaned over, kissing him softly. “Thank you,” she whispered as she pulled back. Benjamin nodded at her.
“It takes time Pandora. Let your body do its thing. I love you for you, and even if you looked like an ogre, I would still love you!
“Ugh, thanks” she snorted.
“No problem, love.”
She felt almost disappointed when they had to pack up to take Benjamin back to his work. She saw a pregnant woman wobble past them as she parked her car.
“That’s my next patient,” Benjamin informed her as he got out of the car. “I’ll be home in four hours,” he continued as he opened the back door and gave each of the boys a kiss. “And just so you know, you are the only pregnant woman I have ever been turned on by.”
She giggled, shaking her head at him. “Thank goodness. I was worried that you had some weird fetish.”
“Only you,” he said, leaning over the seat and kissing her. “The sooner I get in there, the sooner I can get home.”
“I know.” She smiled, kissing him again.
“You’re not making this easier,” he moaned and kissed her back.
“I wanted you the first time I saw you, and now I am fighting for what’s mine.”
“I’m yours completely,” Benjamin declared and kissed her hard. He pulled back when she was completely dazed. “Later,” he called, but he was through the door to his clinic before Pandora could think clearly.

“He going to start using that to get his own way,” she muttered to the boys, who just seemed to smile. She could see she was outnumbered because they would clearly take their dad’s side.
It was her birthday and for the first time in over ten years, she was looking forward to it.
“Come on, Pandora, it’s time to make you look like a princess,” Ron called.
She turned and looked at him and had to hold back a laugh. Ron was wearing an apron to cover his dress clothes but had a pair of wings on his back.
