She nodded and held back a sob when she recalled that Nemo would be missing out on so much. Even if she did find him, he would already miss out on so many important moments.]
“I didn’t mean to upset you,” Dr. Parks said, looking concerned.]
“It’s not you. Just…” she stopped talking and cleared her throat. “I’m still overwhelmed by everything.”
“It gets easier as your hormones start to settle. If it’s okay with you, I would like to do another scan on you when we get to the hospital.”
“Yes, I would love that. I would feel much better seeing Bean again,” she said with a smile.]
He pulled into the car park. “Please stay here,” he said with a stern look. She watched him walk into the hospital and closed her eyes hoping she wouldn’t get sick in his car. “Okay, Pandora,” he said as he opened her door. “Just take it slow from the car and into the wheelchair.”
Her head snapped to him and then into the wheelchair behind him. She groaned at the fact that the sudden movement made her nauseous. The thought of being wheeled around in a wheelchair didn’t help matters, either.]
“It’s just in case you faint again,” he reassured.]
“Tine,” she whined like a child. “But you have to push me really fast so that no one sees me.” She pouted, making Dr. Parks laugh out loud.
“When we get to the department,” he agreed on that condition. Pandora clapped in appreciation. “We now have you and the baby on board. Safety is on. And we take off.“]
