Chapter 5
I had someone dig into Chloe’s background a while back.
On the surface, she seemed like just an average college girl.
She spent her days sipping bubble tea and flirting with cute guys alongside her bestie, Scarlett.
But underneath that innocent exterior, Chloe’s ambition was anything but ordinary.
In her senior year, Scarlett started hooking up with Alexander’s married best friend, Tyler, while working part-time at a club.
Through that connection, Scarlett introduced Chloe to Alexander.
At first, Chloe played it cool. “I’m not into him,” she’d say. “I only agreed to be his mistress so I could party, drink, and hire hot guys for fun.”
But when Chloe saw how common women around Alexander were, how easily replaceable she was among them, she started getting anxious.
So she staged a little drama with Scarlett, a “you run, I run” routine.
It wasn’t just a stunt; it caught Alexander’s eye and sparked a citywide scandal.
Chloe didn’t hide her excitement online, gloating anonymously.
[“Oops, failed to run away, guess I’ll just take my punishment!”]
[“Seven days and nights, results guaranteed!”]
[“Never thought the CEO’s body would be better than male models, hehe!”]
In the comments, she jokingly shared with Scarlett.
[“Now you know how amazing the CEO is!” (evil grin)]
Then Scarlett responded:
[“I don’t care for married men like that, I’m just after his money!”]
Chloe couldn’t keep up the act anymore.
[“Haha, you know me too well.”]
[“Yeah, I’ve totally fallen for him. He doesn’t have any feelings for her anyway.”]
[“If it’s not me, it’ll be someone else.”]
