After working on it for a while, the hacker managed to restore everything.

Before boarding his flight, the hacker handed the phone back: “Got all your data back. But your
wife’s blocked you everywhere. I can get your old messages back, but getting off her blacklist–that’s
on you.”
“That’s enough. Thanks.”
“Just doing what you paid for.”
Alston had his assistant finalize the payment, adding a generous tip.
He didn’t rush to check it since after boarding his flight. As the hacker pointed out, Alani had blocked
him everywhere.
Even though her contact was back in his phone, he still couldn’t massage her. At best, he could only stare at their old conversations and wallow in regret.
But Alston wasn’t the type to wallow in self–pity. Scrolling through old texts and crying alone was
pathetic, he’d never do that.
Throughout the entire flight, he kept his eyes closed, not once looking at his phone.
He wasn’t a failure. He wasn’t pathetic,
This Paris trip would be successful–he’d get Alani back and restore their relationship.

Instead of rushing off to find Alani, he checked into a hotel first.
He showered, shaved, and sent his assistant to buy him a new suit.
Only after changing clothes and fixing his hair–making sure he looked impeccable from head to toe–did Alston grab a massive bouquet of roses and set out to find his wife.
At that moment, Alani was walking through a nearby park with her friend–a senior from her
university days.
They were laughing together when Alston charged toward them: “Alani! So you ran to Paris was for
him!”
“You two have had something going on since college, and now you’re running to Paris for him!”
“You’re sneaking around with the bastered here? Does your husband mean nothing to you?! You are
