Chapter 120 The reuniey
Chapter 120: The reunion.
“A divorce?” Wills said, his voice a little shaky. He ran a hand through his hair and stretched out his hand ‘But baby you can’t… we’ve worked so hard to get here. We are a medical power couple. You can’t do this”
Ivy rolled her eyes at Wills. If she hadn’t seen his attitude before now, she would actually believe this act he was putting on
“It’s done.” Theresa said, her voice still filled with anger. “Don’t worry. You’ll be hearing from my lawyer
“But Theresa… baby.” Wills said softly, but as Theresa was about to leave the hou he lunged at her, pulling her hair. “You bitch”
Theresa screamed, Rita joined Ivy froze and Bud reached for the couple, holding Wills by the shirt
Suddenly the door opened and Silas ran in and smashed Wills in the face
Ivy jumped with every punch that landed on Wills’s face. Bud got in between both men and tried to pull them apart.
“You are so lucky, Wills. You’re so lucky Thomas can’t get here in time! Silas snapped, his eyes burning with anger
“It’s okay, Silas,” Ivy said, placing a hand on his chest.
Silas looked at her and she watched as the anger slowly melted.
“I am pressing charges for assaulting me, dickhead!” Theresa snapped, pointing a finger at Wills. “You’re going to regret messing with me.”
Wills scoffed, obviously defeated but still not admitting that. “Whatever.” He then turned to Rita, his eyes shining with insincere concern. “Baby, remember Ryan. Don’t let this get in between us.”
Ivy watched as the warmth in Rita’s eyes disappeared. “I am done with you!”
Ivy cheered, happiness coursing through her. “She’s done with you!”
Theresa walked out of the room, and Rita leaned towards Ivy. “I want to get my stuff and leave.”
“Go get your stuff, Rita,” Silas said, then he turned to Ivy, “Bud and I will stay with her, go meet Theresa.
Ivy hesitated, then nodded before leaving the room. Outside, she found Theresa crying in the car.
“Hey T. I’m so sorry,” she said as she slid into the car.
Theresa turned to her, collapsing into Ivy’s arms.
“Oh, I’m sorry, T,” she said softly, rubbing Theresa’s back gently.
“I was such a fool,” Theresa said, her words heavy as the tears followed. “I believed him, I beli…”
“It’s okay,” Ivy said as Theresa started crying again.
“He won’t give me a child, because of…” she sobbed again, “yet he has a whole life, a woman, a child! God!”
Ivy’s heart sank at Theresa’s tone and statement. The pain, hurt and betrayal hit so differently, yet so similar.
There was a tap on the car’s window and both of them looked up. Rita was outside, waving, tears in her eyes.
“Can I…” she trailed off.
Theresa straightened up, wiping her tears off with the back of her hand. She got down from the car and Ivy followed her. She faced Ivy, completely ignoring Rita. “Tell Silas I took his driver home,” she said and proceeded to meet Victor, who was
in Silas’s car.
Rita reached Theresa, her tears heavier. “I’m sorry… I’m…”
But Theresa was already in the car, signaling to Victor to start it.
Ivy reached for Rita who continued to cry. “Hey, it’s okay,” she consoled her.
“I didn’t know,” Rita said through her tears, “I just want to… I just…”
“Don’t worry, she’ll come around,” Ivy said softly, even though she wasn’t sure. She didn’t want to imagine how Theresa was feeling, hell, she couldn’t imagine herself warming up to Cheryl’s and Mason’s child for whatever reason.
“Hey, Silas said and she turned.
“Hey,” she said softly.
“We’ve got all of Rita’s stuff. Let’s leave this place,” Silas said, gesturing to her car.
Ivy nodded as she helped Rita straighten up. “Let’s go get Ryan and go home.”
Rita nodded, as she trudged to the opened car. Her eyes went to her pink house, and Ivy watched as the emotions in them intensified before she entered.
Ivy sat with her in the back seat, while Silas moved to the passenger seat. They got Ryan, who was still sleeping, thanked

Hector and made their way home
“We’re home,” Silas announced just as Bud drove into the premises
tvy got down and opened the door for Rita who carried Ryan on her shoulder. “Easy now”
Rita gave a weak smile
As Ivy opened the door, she was stunned to see May in the living room. “Aunt May?” she gasped
May stood up from the couch and went to Ivy “My sweet girl, how are you?”
I’m good” Ivy replied, hugging her aunt
Rits entered with Ryan just as Ivy pulled away from May’s arms. Ivy stepped away allowing both women to look at each other
The silence stretched for a while before Rita cleared her throat. “Hey mom
May burst into tears as she ran to Rita, wrapping her hands around her and Ryan. “My babies.”
Ivy swallowed as emotions built up from watching the reunion. Ryan was already awake, and the little boy was surprised about the hugs and kisses he was getting.
When Silas entered, Ivy left May and Rita and went to him. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” he replied. “I wasn’t sure it was a good idea. I thought Rita wouldn’t like that.”
A smile curved on Ivy’s lips as Rita and May murmured to each other. “It’s been five years and it’s just really heartwarming to see. Thank you.”
Silas smiled, his eyes lighting up. “You’re welcome.”
Finally, May and Rita come to meet them. They were both smiling, and Ryan had been carried by his grandmother. “We have a lot of catching up to do,” May said with a bright smile. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to take them home.”
“Not a problem at all,” Silas responded. “I will have my driver take you.”
“Thank you, Silas,” May smiled. “And you too, Ivy.”
“Thank you, Ivy,” Rita said, moving closer and giving Ivy a hug.
“You’re both welcome,” Ivy hiccuped, trying not to cry.
When Rita pulled away, she smiled at Silas and thanked him as well. Silas nodded with a smile of his own as he led them outside.
Alone in the living room, Ivy made her way to the couch and sank in it. She sighed, releasing all her worked up emotions. The day had been so packed that she just wanted it over.
Of everything that had happened, she was sad for both Theresa and Rita, and she hoped they could both move past this phase.
“What a day!” Silas exclaimed as he entered the living room.
Ivy chuckled. “I was just thinking the same.”
“We should check on Theresa. I can’t imagine how she’s feeling,” Silas suggested, as he sat on the couch too. “Even Rita, but at least she has her mother now.”
Ivy’s mind wandered as she thought about Theresa again, and suddenly her heart pounded from thinking of Wills and how unremorseful he was.
“Yeah..” she said softly. “You know…. in case Wills tried to do something weird.”
Silas’s forehead creased and he stood up. “We will. But first, I need to talk to Kim.”
Ivy got up as well, nodding slightly. As much as she wanted Kim out of the house, she didn’t want it to be immediately.
“It’s already late, Silas. Let her just leave tomorrow morning.”
“I thought so too,” Silas said, his frown deepened. “Let me have a conversation with her, so she can be prepared.”
Ivy nodded again and watched him walk down the hallway. As soon as she tried to sit again, her phone rang, Theresa was calling.
“Hey, T, she said, picking up.
“Hello, ma’am.” The response wasn’t Theresa, it was Victor.
Ivy stood up again, her heart already pounding wild. “Victor? What happened? Where is Theresa?”
“Ms Stone fainted, ma’am, I just took her to the hospital, Victor said sadly.
“Oh!” Ivy gasped. “Where?”

He told her the address.
“We’re coming,” she said, ending the phone and making her way to Silas’s room.
But before she could even leave the living room, her phone buzzed again, this time with an unknown number.
“Hello,” she picked, her chest tightening in anticipation.
“How do you like the smashed windows and new design in your new place?”
Her fear immediately turned to anger. “Mason.”
“Hello, Ivy. I just wanted you to know that I know your new place. Do with that whatever you will.” Then he hung up.
Anger surged through her instead of fear like Mason must have hoped. Ivy got to Silas’s room and pushed the door open.
“Mason is responsible for the graffitis, I am definitely pressing charges to-”
But she froze, unable to complete her statement as she found Kim in Silas’s arms, kissing him.
