Elijah watched Cameron leave and slowly smiled.
With the foxtail in her mouth, looking a bit ruffian, Cameron glanced at her casually and said, “I don’t think we have anything to do with each other.”
The obsidian earring in her ear sparkled in the spring sunlight.
Amelia stared at her overly handsome face and said, “You are right.”
She stared at Cameron. The more she looked, the stranger she felt.

Cameron stood up and said, “Oh, yeah, you’re always right, so can you please stay away from me?”
