Chapter 15
James chased her all the way to the bedroom. Wasn’t he just trying to stand up for Olivia?
Just because, she slapped Olivia twice, he felt the need to avenge her
If he liked Olivia so much, why did he agree to marry her in the first place?
Emily’s eyes turned cold, her face indifferent. ‘If I strip, will you let me go?”
Lawrence’s face darkened instantly at her words.
He was betting that Emily wouldn’t actually go through with it.
His jaw tightened. “Taking off your clothes isn’t hard for you. How many times have you tried to seduce me like this before?”
Emily released her tightly clenched lips. “Fine, let go of me, and I’ll strip!”
Lawrence’s eyes flickered, and he stared at Emily’s expression as if trying to see through her.
He let her go.
He knew how strong her pride was. With Elowen and Olivia downstairs, there was no way she would actually go through
with it.
But in the next second, Emily tore off her dress right in front of him.
The zipper broke.
From top to bottom, her body was almost instantly exposed to his eyes.
Her breasts, tightly wrapped in a bra, bounced with her violent movements.
Below was a pair of lace panties, matching the bra, and her smooth, slender legs.
From Lawrence’s angle, he could even see her round, perky butt.
Emily’s face turned pale. She could see Lawrence’s dark, intense gaze,
But the little bit of fabric left on her was her final line. She couldn’t take off any more.
“See? It’s all yours!” She threw the dress at Lawrence and turned to walk out barefoot.
Her sweet scent hit his nose, and as Emily was about to walk out the door, Lawrence lost it.
She really dared?
His face darkened, and he strode forward, grabbing her and pinning her against the wall.
“You like being seen so much that you don’t even care about your dignity?”
Chapter 15
His hot breath fell on her,
If it would burn a hole through he
Emily struggled in his arms. Lawrence, get off me. Don’t forget what you promised. I took off my clothes. What more do you want?”
“The more she struggled, the tighter his grip on her waist became.
Emily couldn’t break free and was furious. “Do you want me to take off these last two pieces too? Lawrence, I can’t believe you’re this kind of scumbag after three years of marriage.”
Lawrence’s face was grim. She was almost completely exposed, rubbing against him. Did she really think he had superhuman self–control?
He pushed her away slightly and grabbed a long coat from the scattered clothes, covering her. “If you want to leave, I won’t stop you. But think carefully. Once you leave the Parker family, everything Grandpa promised you is void.”
Emily clutched the coat tightly, her face flushed with anger. “That was Grandpa’s promise. Who are you to override him? I want the Parker family inheritance, and I won’t settle for a penny less.”
Lawrence’s face was cold as he stared at her. “If you want the Parker family money, stay my wife. You’ll never leave me.”
“Impossible!”
Emily lifted her head, like an unyielding swan
Lawrence narrowed his eyes, his tone icy. “Then don’t expect to get a single penny from me.”
If she thought she could take his money to support another man, she was dreaming.
Emily zipped up the coat. “Then we’ll see each other in divorce court. Let’s see whose legal team is better.”
She trusted Daniel’s team.
Mentioning the legal team, Lawrence’s eyes darkened, and a nameless fire ignited in his chest.
He took two steps forward, trapping her in the corner, his dark eyes intense. “Tell me, what’s your deal with that guy, Daniel?”
Emily was startled but quickly recovered.
With Lawrence’s resources, it was impossible for him not to investigate Daniel.
But no matter how much he dug, he wouldn’t find anything.
Looking at the furious Lawrence, Emily smirked coldly. “What’s it to you?”
Lawrence grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him. “He’s a financial expert who flew across the country to handle you divorce case. Are you saying there’s nothing between you two?”
“Or have you already slept with him?”
“Lawrence, you bastard.”
Chapter 15-
Emily was furious, trying to push him away, but Lawrence didnt budge.
Instead, he grabbed her waist, trying to pull her into his arms.
But Emily didn’t give him the chance.
She stomped hard on his foot.
She was wearing high heels.
The pain was intense.
Lawrence’s face changed instantly.
Emily didn’t care about him. She grabbed her things and quickly left.
Lawrence, that jerk, dared to
her.
He should look at himself, entangled with Olivia, and now bullying her.
This marriage was over.
A bad man like him, whoever wanted him could have him. She didn’t care anymore.
Meanwhile, downstairs in the living room.
Elowen and Olivia hadn’t left yet and were chatting with Sophia
Olivia, with her head lowered, responded to everything, making Sophia like her even more.
Holding Olivia’s hand, Sophia sighed that Lawrence had chosen the wrong person. If Olivia had been her daughter–in–law, she would have been much better than the always unlikable Emily.
Maybe she would have had a grandchild by now.
When Emily came downstairs in the coat, Olivia and Elowen saw her.
Elowen, experienced, immediately noticed something was off with Emily.
Her flushed face, slightly messy hair, and the hint of allure in her eyes…
It seemed like something more than an argument had happened upstairs.
Feigning ignorance, Elowen spoke up to draw attention. “Emily’s down. Why are your eyes red? Did you argue with
Lawrence?”
Elowen pretended to care but was actually stirring the pot.
Emily couldn’t be bothered with her, not even looking at her..
But Elowen wouldn’t let it go, putting on a motherly act.

Years ago, Elmwen had kicked Emily out of the Johnson family when she was just a teenager, Michael had neser med ter to return. An unwanted orphan, what did she have to be proud 7
“Olivia was the cherished daughter of the Johnson family, raised with love and care.
Olivia deserved the wealth and luxury, not Emily,
Elowen pressed on, and Emily watched her coldly, waiting to see what she would do.
Seeing Emily silent, Elowen grew more confident, thinking Lawrence had really kicked her out.
“There aren’t many rooms at home, but we can have the servants prepare one. It’s better than you going back to the countryside. But Olivia has already taken your old room. You don’t mind, do you?”
