Freya laughed, her expression cold. “Are you trying to disgust me on purpose?”

“Auntie, if she doesn’t want to, then she doesn’t want to. And even if she does, my sister still wouldn’t want to. What’s her status? How could she possibly be sisters with my sister?”
She scoffed lightly and looked at Freya.
“You target my sister and stop her from getting into Cole, but you don’t know this: the more you target my sister, the more her husband loves her. Just now, when her husband found out you and the boss at Cole were bullying my sister, he immediately went to confront Cole.
Though it didn’t lead to anything, as compensation for what my sister went through, her husband handed us a multi–billion–dollar project these past two days. And that project was something your
brother–in–law has been begging for recently. Hahaha…”
Freya bit her lip, her fist clenched.
Jessica was also furious, scoffing, “Has Raven married Matteo yet? You’re calling him ‘brother–in–law‘ even though they’re not even married? How shameless!”
“You!”
“Enough, Sophie,” Logan said, pulling Sophia back. He sighed, then turned to Freya and said, “Mag, Raven is a genius in the AI field. She has important things to do at Cole. You should control your temper and stop targeting her.”

“Are you done talking?” Freya looked at him, her eyes cold. “If you’re done, you can leave.”
Tracy, who had been silent until now, fanned the flames, “Mag, how can you speak to your father
like this?”
Sophia echoed, “Exactly, you have no manners!”
Freya replied coldly, “I have no manners? At least I don’t go around becoming a mistress.”

“Enough,” Logan said, disappointed, seeing that Freya wouldn’t listen. “Let’s go.”

Logan grabbed the custom gift and quickly left with Sophia and the others.
After they walked away, Jessica looked at Freya with concern. “Mag…”

What really hurt her was that because of her, her uncle had been burdened even more. And it also
hurt her because of Matteo’s favoritism.
Every time she thought about how Matteo only cared about Raven, and how he had been ruthless toward Johnny and her uncle for Raven’s sake, without ever considering her feelings, it felt like a
knife was twisting in her heart.
The pain was unbearable.

Jessica hugged her with a sympathetic look on her face.
Freya forced a smile but didn’t say anything.
