“What happened?”

“You know that charity gala I had to attend today? Well, I ran into your worthless father and Raven there!”

“Just now, at the event, a girl started calling Raven a bitch and accused her of stealing her fiancé. She threw a glass of red wine on Raven, and the scene got pretty ugly.

The girl came from a good family and wouldn’t let up. She made a big fuss for quite a while. I was watching the drama unfold when I saw your husband suddenly show up!”

Freya froze for a moment, and then heard Jessica gritting her teeth as she continued,

“This was a charity gala with an all–star lineup, live–streamed too. Though Raven and her crew aren’t exactly big stars, when your husband showed up to support her and took her away, that moment was caught on camera and broadcast live-”

Jessica sent her the live–stream video.

Freya opened it.

The gala had some performances, loud and chaotic, and the camera angle was too far, making it

hard to hear what was being said.

However, the video clearly captured the scene where the girl approached Raven, argued with her,

and poured red wine over her.

As soon as Matteo appeared to protect Raven, the girl’s family’s attitude changed.

At the end of the video, the once arrogant girl’s family looked defeated and tried to ease the situation with the Brown family.
