Harry and Raven were also on good terms. Clearly, compared to her, they would much rather see Matten with Raven
Harry and Levi probably hoped that she would have some ambiguous relationship with someone else, so that Matteo could be free of her.
Why would they care if she had any ambiguity with other men and risk making Matteo unhappy?
After getting into her car, Freya drove away.
By the time she arrived at the old house, it was completely dark outside. Inside, besides the servants, only Grandma Wilson was there. When she learned that Freya had arrived, she came out personally to greet her.
When she saw that Freya was alone, her smile faltered for a moment. “Where’s Isabella?”
It wasn’t unusual for Matteo not to return with her, so Grandma Wilson didn’t ask further.
But usually, Isabella always came back with her, so she wondered where she was. Ever since Freya’s ankle healed, after having a meal at the villa with Isabella, she hadn’t heard from her again.
As for what Matteo and Isabella had been doing over the weekend, or who they were with, Freya had no idea. She
didn’t even care to ask.
Now, hearing Grandma Wilson’s question, Freya smiled and said, “They should be here soon.”
Although she said that, in reality, whether they would come tonight was still uncertain. After all, wasn’t it the same last time when they went to the hot spring resort?
Grandma Wilson, thinking that Freya must know about Matteo and his daughter’s plans, didn’t press her for more details. She assumed everything was fine.
Freya spent quite a while talking with Grandma Wilson, and by the time it was almost 7:30, there was still no sign of ‘Matteo or Isabella.
Grandma Wilson furrowed her brows. “What time is it? Why aren’t they here yet?”
As she spoke, she seemed to recall that Matteo had also been absent the last time they went to the hot spring resort. Her face darkened, and she turned to Freya. “Mag, could you call him and remind him?”
Freya sighed and picked up her phone to call Matteo.
The call was picked up quickly. Matteo seemed to have guessed the reason for the call and spoke first. “We’ll be there

Freya smiled at her but didn’t say anything
Twenty minutes later, Matteo and his daughter finally arrived.
Grandma Wilson didn’t look at Matteo but warmly waved to Isabella, smiling, “Isabella, you’re back!
“Grandma!” Isabella ran to Grandma Wilson, who hugged her and affectionately rubbed her head before letting her go to Freya. “Mom.”
“Mm.” Freya embraced Isabella and, as she did, noticed the faint scent of Raven’s perfume on her clothes.
She didn’t mention it but gently pushed Isabella away.
Matteo sat next to Grandma Wilson and handed her a box. “A gift to apologize.”
Inside the box was a rare snow tea that Grandma Wilson loved. It was something hard to find and extremely expensive.

Chapter 98
Grandma Wilson knew it was a gesture of apology for Matteo missing the trip to the hot spring resort last time.
She snorted, saying, “At least you know how to bring a gift for Grandma. But what about Mag? Did you prepare an apology gift for her?”
Matteo smiled but didn’t say anything. He just glanced at Freya.
However, it was only a simple look, with no other emotions in it.
