Chapter 104
The footsteps continued to get closer and Ermis did not know what caught,

The footsteps got closer causing him to look around, looking for a place to hide. The only place he saw was an open window. He contemplated over and over if he should jump over.

“she is having breakfast already with the king and the prince. The other left the door, not properly closing it, one could still see him inside if he wasn’t careful.
He closed his eyes, prayed, casting th
spells out loud and luckily, he found himself out of the palace and where the rebels gathered
“you seem quite on the edge” Lucia said, avoiding Helios‘ gaze.
“don’t tell me you don’t feel it too he is definitely not here for a good reason to.”
“what’s taking him so long?” Helios said after a while looking around he stood up but immediately was brought back to the chair with so much force as his nose started to bleed and his eyes began to gen blurry
“helios?” Lucia called a bit panicked, looking around for help. “HELIOS!!!” She pulled his barely alive body next to her.
“we need to get him to somewhere no one can see him, especially his brother” in her crazed mind, she registered Constance voice. Her body worked on auto pilot as she pulled his body to the nearest room.
They laid him gently and Constance pulled something from his bedside drawer and started doing things to him.
“you need to leave” Constance started, lucia turned to her, barely waiting for her to get her words in.
“what? I can’t just leave him here, what if..”
“Lucia! I need you out of here and out there in case anyone is looking for him. If they find out that their king is unfit to rule them that would cause a riot for a change or worse, death” she let the words sink in, Lucia’s body visibly shaking.

The wind whispered through the trees, carrying the scent of pine and damp earth. Lucia stood at the edge of the forest
As if in response to,her unease, a rustling sound echoed from the depths of the woods. Lucia tensed, her hand instinctively reaching for the hilt of the dagger at her side. A figure emerged from the shadows, moving with a grace that marked her as someone familiar.

Chapter 104
“its you,” Lucia greeted, her voice tinged with wariness. It was the gif that had dragged her away from the rest of the council and gave her information when Helios went on a rampage
“Lucia,” Amelia acknowledged with a nod. Her gaze flickered to her sile as if someone was there and Lucia could sense the tension In the air between them. The relationship between Helios and the Council had always been a rocky one
“What brings you here?” Lucia asked, her tone guarded.
Amelia sighed, her features grave. “I come with a warning, Lucia. The Council has grown concerned about your presence here.”
Lucia stiffened, her hand tightening into a fist. “What do you mean?
“The Council believes that you poses a threat to the balance of our world,” Amelia explained carefully. “They fear that your existence here could attract unwanted attention from hunters or other supernatural beings. They’ve decided that you must be removed from this realm, just like they did to your parents and your people” she looked at me intently
A surge of anger flared within Lucia, hot and fierce, a low growl rumbling in her throat. “and how do I know this isn’t another plot to get me out of the palace and hurt me?”
“because unlike the rest of the council, I know Helios might be dying if you don’t take the right decision soon” Lucia’s blood ran cold upon hearing it.
They know! Her mind started to panic
“if the other council member knew about this, they would have taken the opportunity but I am here, alone”
Lucia looked at her long and hard before she nodded, deciding that she could trust her
“I understand, Lucia, you might not trust me but I swear, I am on your side amelia said softly. “
I have come to warn you, they plan to take your wolf away from you”
Fear and defiance warred within Lucia’s heart. She knew the power of the Council, the authority they held over the supernatural world. She knew they would do it without a second thought and that scared the shit out of her

“death” Amelia completed” they don’t care. They know how unstoppable you and Helios would be if you two were to completely seal the bond.
“how do you know I haven’t ?” she looked at her, a looked of suspicion.
“everyone who has magic can see the space yet to be filled” Lucia adjusted her clothes, suddenly feeling exposed.
“you have to act quick, there is basically no time anymore. What ever you choose, you have to act quick, Helios‘ life is hanging by a thread.”
The reality of what she had told Lucia hit her like a truck.
“but I love him” this was the second time that she was saying it out loud and this time, she wasnot saying it under the serenity of Helios‘ arm, she was saying it out to a complete stranger and for some reason, it scared her.
