Chapter 15- rosemary, peppermint, oranges–1
In a moment, Ajax was off me. I saw Eric whispering something into his ears, but I couldn’t catch what it was. I was too wound up to start thinking, “Don’t move” Eric’s voice sent a chill r down my spine, and not at all in a nice way. “You’re only going to make him chase.”
I froze completely. There was no thinking what he would do if he actually chased me and ended up catching me.
Ajax tried to break out of Eric’s hold. “Ajax, give Kaden back his control.” He growled, holding him down. It was good that he was here. I was ten seconds away from pissing my pants.
“no, my mate. She can’t leave me, she smells like another male. I gave to make her, show them she’s taken. She’s mine” I sniffed myself, not that I could actually smell anything.
“Luc, who were you with?” Eric asked in a calm voice.
“I don’t.. I don’t know. He was the one that sent a guard to take me back here. I don’t even know shit“.
The look in Kaden/Ajaxx’s eyes turned crazed by the minutes he stayed in close contact with me, and it was not the good kind.
“Ajax, who was it?” Eric was barely holding him at this point, it was becoming more evident that Eric couldn’t hold him down for long.
“Lucia. Try and remember for fucks sake! He would obviously be a pack member” He said, ajax was at this point, ripping his arm, but it healed immediately, even if it looked like it
hurt like a bitch.
I tried to think hard but no one was coming to mind. I had stayed in the pack all my life,
and it was just dawning on me that I had never seen the guy before, not even once. “Actually, I don’t think I have ever seen him before today.”
At that moment, Ajax snapped, freeing himself from Eric’s hold, and then ran straight to me. I didn’t pass out this time, but I could feel the pain as his Canines sunk into my neck. It felt like a million bees stinging me over and over again while hot oil was being poured
over my body.

I could hear distantsscreams that sounded familiar, my eyes burned and watered, while my backdowassomaaliaards surface. I was on the floor I was crying. Those distant yet familiar
voices, wereemine.
My wholechinoly hurt. I heard distant voices trying to talk to me, but the pain was too much, I couldnt make anything out of the voices. I felt people’s hands touching me.
Ineededuttivem tosstop it. Their hands felt like a thousand knives stabbing my skin like I wassbeeinghbhumtaalive.
“stop..pleasesstop” but none of them stopped, none of them listened to me.

Ilwanted to kill myself. I had hurt her. I looked at her as she rolled on the floor in pain,
aandII gradually came back to my senses.
Immoved a step back. Looking at Eric, then back to my.. I mean Lucia. I didn’t miss the
look on Eric’s face. I had hurt one of nature’s most precious gifts to me.
Eric did not understand what was going on or why I was doing what I was doing, no one did, except my dad and no one questioned it. They didn’t have the guts too. My dad was the exception as he instigated everything. (2
I bit down the urge for me to go back. I couldn’t be seen as weak. I couldn’t. My dad wasn’t going to hear the end of it.
I opened my bedroom, slamming g it shut and I entered to find Camille sitting there doing Goddess knows what while she was the cause of this mess.
“You marked her, again,” she said calmly, although I could hear the subtle tone of sadnes and anger in there. “You chose her, again”.
“you triggered my wolf, why had you threatened to kill her!”
“I don’t think you understand what is going on Kaden,” she said, standing up from her seat as she looked at me, walking up to me with those threatening steps. “You don’t mate

her. You don’t look her way, you don’t. Go. Near. Her!” He said using her sharp claws to mark along my jawline, down to My neck. “It wasn’t a threat when I said I would kill her
if that is what it takes to get your attention. I can not! Be the second woman! I would not!
Be ignored!”
