chapter 32
I was right, it was more than I had anticipated. The walls of the cost were collapsing, and I could see dark shadows from one side to the other. The door swung open, revealing a very panicked from the way she was dressed, a maid.
“wolves! they say they are here for revenge” she said focusing her son me. “the king has ordered not a single head on her head should move.” The rest of them nodded, tightening themselves aroucil me.
“I can handle myself” I said feeling out of place. Never had people make a fuss over me this way before.

Helios came into the room, his nose flaring, he looked around the soom before his eyes rested on me, darkening a bit before he looked away, I leaked down to see that I was still in my underwear as I was yet to change into either of the dresses that was set
before me.
I felt myself blushing as I used my hands to cover myself as much as could but it was useless. My attention was dragged back to him as he cleared his throat, still avoiding my eyes.
“are you alright?” he asked everyone as he looked at no one in particular.
“we are fine your grace, no harm was done.” The oldest maid said. He nodded.
“the ball would no longer hold, Luzia, come with ine” he said walking out and not even waiting for me to come. It might have been the way he said it, but I found myself walking to him not even to wear an appropriate clothing.
I walked with him to the whole other side of the castle, the place was bigger than I thought. 1 followed him into a room, it was smaller than most of the rooms I had been in. immediately I entered after him, the door shut close with a slam. He didn’t touch it, there was no way he could, he was standing right in front of me.
It was only then It actually settled that he had magic, I never saw him actually use his power, at least not this way.
“are you hurt?” he said immediately the door got shut. He rushed to me, looking me up and down.
“I’m fine” 1 said. He looked me deep in the eyes as if making sure that I was telling him the truth.
He sighed “they broke through the first barrier, it was the council” he said slightly panicking.
“the council?” I knew they existed, but I never thought they would do something like they did earlier” is there something wrong? Did you do anything wrong?” as I was talking, trying to come up with why they did something like that, could not help but notice that the look in his eyes were back. He looked at me rather intensely, looking me up to down and then on my lips.
“it could not have been because I came here right?” I started to worry, I most certainly must have cause trouble for him. He stopped me from talking, as another question was about to fly out from my mouth, but placing his thumb on my lips.
I stopped talking, there was nothing I could say, I was finding it difficult to even breathe. “you worry a lot” he said with a smoulder. His massage on my lips got more and more intense.
i gulped, my throat getting dryer by the moment. He bent down, simar to thing wolves do when they wanted to sniff their mates.
He was getting closer to my face before he seemed to have realised what he was doing.

He pulled away from me “I and sorry, I don’t know what came over 1 blinked “I just wanted to see if you were fios” I wanted to pull him to me and sniff him back. With my heightened senses his smell hit me in ways I couldn’t explain and being in this situation made it all the more obvious.
“you may leave, I just wanted to see
if you were okay” he said turning his back to me.
I swallowed whatever pain came flooding over me. I nodded, leaving the room faster than I could imagine. I rushed out, heading
back to my room.
1 slammed the door shut, thanking the heavens that no one was inside as I climbed the bed and buried my head in the bed from embarrassment.
Sometime later, the door opened, revealing the one who caused the embarrassed state. “what do you want I snapped, unable hold back I was feeling.
“the council” I sat up as I heard that. They couldn’t just summon me I was no one of importance.
1 looked at him, afraid of what I was going to hear, I just hoped that was not what I was thinking.
“Luzia?” he–dragged my name in a way that made me shiver. “I am sorry about earlier, I just, I had this overwhelming urge to kiss you, I don’t know why I knew it was inappropriate” he said sounding very sincere.
“who said I would have found it inappropriate?”
