Chapter 51 -1
Third person p.o.v
Helios could see from his side vision that Lucia was with her ex mate Kaden. He couldn’t describe what her felt, ‘it certainly couldn’t be jealousy‘ he thought to himself as he continued to watch them while he tried to pay attention to the person in front of him who was speaking.
“My king, your attention seems to be somewhere else” the woman, he had forgotten her
name had the moment said, forcing a smile to cover up the fact that she was hurt.
“Of course not! I just have to find my bride, I would get back to you” he said leaving her
and not even batting an eyelash at that.
His mind was going a mile per hour when he couldn’t find his mate anymore., but he
knew where she was. It might have been the crazed look in his eyes when Kaden when
further into the corner that gave it away, or the fact that he got this weird feeling that his
mate was with someone she used to have feelings for.
Either way, he was ready to get Kaden’s head away from his body. The announcer said
something but to the mind of Helios, it was nothing but white noise as he made his way
in the sea of people without trying to seem like he was panicked.
His composure broke however when a high pitched voice stole the attention of everyone
in the room.
Everyone looked around to see where the noise was coming from but he knew exactly where it was coming from. He pried Kaden off with a single shove which sent him flying
to the other side of the room.
“Lucia!” He shook her desperately, an attempt to get her to pry her eyes open. Everyone seemed to have noticed what the commotion was about and started to gather around him. Including their unnoticed visitor who stood at the entrance as he had just entered the room when the commotion had started.
“Move!” Emily yelled shoving people aside to get to her brother and his mate. She had somehow come to like the little wolf who somehow looked lost the last time they met, maybe it was because she too hoped that she could meet someone perfectly made just for

her like her brother had done. “Helios, you have to let me examine her.” He readily nodded, giving enough room for her to do her doctor thing on her.
“This isn’t good.” She called the guards to take her into a closed space where she could properly be looked at.
“She would be fine right?” Looking at the unconscious body of his mate was making his control slip. The first time he ever lost control, he was scared. This little human in his sister’s hand had made him loose control. He did the only thing he could do at that time,
he pushed her away.
But this time? He could care less if he lost control and burned down the place along with the little fucker that had dared too mess with what was his. (1
He looked around and saw the pathetic human was trying to make his escape from the
distracted crowd.
He took in a deep breath, slamming the door shut, with just a single action of using his
mind to do so.
Kaden looked like a deer caught in headlights.
He took a step towards the pathetic human. The effects of him loosing control of his power was visible to everyone as everyone was starting to get uncomfortable in the room and started to look for either place to hide or a place they could escape the room as the room threatened to cave from the thunder bolts that plagued this room.
He took another step towards Kaden.
This was it. Nothing was going to stop him. Nor even the council. He was close to him by now. His eyes fully white and skin paler than usual. He was at the highest peek of his
power. He could singlehandedly destroy the whole kingdom and eve realm. If he desired

“THIS IS ENOUGH!!!” The unnoticed visitor finally made himself known, shocking everyone who had not noticed him before, Helios included.
He had made a little rumble to exert his power in the room, but it was not nearly as much show of power as Helios‘ but it was still enough to gather the attention of everyone.
They bowed to him out of respect. But everyone in the room was more concerned and
feared Helios.
He looked back at his prey who was not going to get away from him that easy. He bent to his level, as Kaden was sat on the floor shuffling back on his hands and butt until his back was against the door.
“If you think that this little interruption would be your saving grace, then you have it wrong. It’s only but a likely till I tear toy limp from limp, and piece by piece. I would keep you alive just to make sure you feel every little pain before I Go to the gates of hell and bring back your soul just to continue the process all over again. You’ve messed with the wrong person. Pup” he spat the last part out with a mocking voice and then stood back up in his full length before he turned to look at the man who stood in front of him.
He looked at him for a while before he went out, not in anyway in the mood for the man who had decided to grace him with his presence.
The guards already knowing what to do was dragging the scared alpha away from the ball room into a more suitable room for what was to happen next.
Helios rushed to her room seeing still unconscious with Emily doing somethings to her. “what happened to her?” he said, finally letting his panic show in front of his sister.
“it’s bad Helios. Her wolf, its barely there. It’s like she is dying” he felt his heart drop to
his stomach after hearing that.
“I… I. I” he took in a deep breath, trying to get his train of thoughts together. Everything started to look bleak. “I swear I would kill him.” He growled, matching out of the room to
fulfil his promise.
“Helios!” Emily yelled, pushing her self off of Lucia to face her brother. “whatever you do,
you can’t hurt him.”

He looked at her like she had grown a second head. “excuse me?”
“He kind of marked her, placing their bind back in place, and until we fix it. Hurting him
would hurt her.” Emily felt a sense of rage as she explained it. She too wanted nothing more than to give a good kick in the ass to the bastard.
“But she is mine, my mate.” A sense of possession engulfed him. Lucia was his and his alone. There was no way she could bond back with that fool.
“Yes but you never completed the mating process so you never got rid of the initial bond that was there.” The sadness in her voice was palpable.
“Step aside. I could break the bond myself.” He said taking several steps forward as he prepared to break it.
“Helios” his sister called softly. “even you know that it could kill her or worse, damage her forever. Or magic is useless against this.”
“WELL I HAVE TO AT LEAST TRY! I CAN’T JUST SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING!” He was loosing it. Not being able to do nothing.
“What was that show of weakness I saw earlier!” a third voice said, snapping them from the their panicked state to the real world
Helios looked at the man who had some how followed him.
“What do you want.” He growled, taking a protective stance.
“And is that anyway to greet your father?”
