The Wolf and the Fae
chapter 79
Lucia snapped out of whatever Adrian had done as she looked at the twisted smile on Camille’s face, she shoved him back with a force she didn’t know she had, causing him to go flying out of the ruined door.
The smile was wiped from her face as there was no one in front of the two of them.
“look, I am sorry, okay? It was a tease, okay?” she moved back, trying to avoid the swinging of Lucia’s claws.
The scent of her mate, Helios, lingered in the air like a tantalizing promise, drawing her out of crazed state, she looked around, looking around to find the owner of the scent.
Her skin buzzed, the magic from the necklace. It was not like it usually did. She could feel it in her bones, something was wrong.
Helios.
Her mind raced a moment per second as she thought of him. 1
“Stay away from him,” Lucia growled, her voice laced with a primal edge that betrayed her inner turmoil. “He’s mine, and I won’t let you take him from me.”
The words were like a match to the tinder, igniting a blaze of fury within Lucia’s chest. With a roar that echoed through the forest, she unleashed the beast within, the transformation swift and savage and then she ran off, the necklace taking her just where she should be at the moment, in Helios‘ chamber
Camille’s eyes widened in shock, Lucia had teleported right before her. Only someone with a huge amount of power could do that and lucia?…

“your grace, I know it would not be easy, but..”
“Constance!” he said, wheezing a bit as it took him a lot to command such air around him. “I cannot do that! You know I can’t. would you have me disobey the goddess?”
“I love her like my child, you know that and I would not want to see her hurt. The goddess knew of this curse before she paired you two together. This is cruel! Would you die then for this?”
“its more than that now” I love her and can’t let her go. He did not add the last part, fearing that if he said it out loud it would seem more real. “good night Constance”
