Chapter 112
Jason turned to look at me.“You’re really quite afraid of dying.”
I unconsciously gripped my seatbelt tighter. I couldn’t reach anyone else, so I could only communicate with my wolf through our mindlink. What did he mean by that? Was it because I insisted on a bonding severance certificate, angering him, or because I said I would sue him and play the recording of him and Tanner? How could I ask for help? Who could I ask for help? My first thought wasn’t the Pack Enforcer, but Xander… that seemingly omnipotent alpha.
But why did he always have to save me…?
“Who are you thinking about?” Jason noticed my distraction, and a nameless anger rose in his heart. It wasn’t just women who had intuition; men did too.
I glanced at him.“I’m thinking about when you’ll stop the car, whether we’ll run out of gas, and how we’ll get back.” I deliberately steered the conversation towards ordinary matters.
Jason didn’t speak again. I secretly reached into my bag. The phone Jason had snatched was a new one; important things were saved on my old phone, which was why I hadn’t tried to get it back. And I had a spare phone in my pocket.
Instead of asking Xander for help, I sent Summer my location every five minutes, along with messages, but I didn’t know what she was busy with. Last time, I’d sent Liam a message and accidentally sent a “held mi“instead of “help me“….
Summer, seeing the strange orchard location, was puzzled. Then, she saw the words “Jason took me,” understanding it as a cry for help.
She drove there. She assumed Jason wouldn’t harm me; he just wanted to be alone with me, so she didn’t call the Pack Enforcer.
The car left the orchard, drove for another hour on a highway, passed through a suburban area, and a small town… The farther we went, the more remote it became, until I had no idea where
we were.
Looking at the time, we had been driving for almost three hours; it was already past nine o’clock at night. I was just waiting for him to run out of gas.
Finally, the car completely ran out of
ran out of gas at the foot of a remote mountain. Spring had arrived, and the sound of crickets and frogs filled the air. Looking out, the darkness was absolute, with only a few faint lights visible in the far distance… My wolf could no longer bear the terrifying atmosphere, “IS HE REALLY GOING TO KILL US!?”
“It’s just us now,” Jason opened his window, lit a cigarette, and the flickering orange light illuminated his sharp, handsome features.
He smoked, loosened his tie with one hand, his dark hair carelessly swept back, looking like a charming rogue. In the eyes of female omegas, he was the Head Warrior of the Pack, handsome, wealthy, and domineeringly sexy; even loosening his tie was full of sexual tension. But when I first met him, he was a clean–cut young werewolf who blushed when holding hands… I still miss

that “deceased” Jason.
“So, what are you going to do?” I asked resignedly.
Mens
Jason exhaled smoke rings, looking at me. In the dim light, I was still beautiful. The form–fitting nude–colored dress hugged my curves, my slender waist easily encircled, my fuller parts soft and sweet like a peach. When I was passionate, with my legs intertwined around him, there could be no more beautiful sight in the world…
He leaned closer, his smoke–laced breath on my face.“I think the reason you’re so ruthless to me is that we don’t have a puppy.”
