Ivy was already waiting for me at the practice range. Wearing a bright yellow jumpsuit and voluminous wavy hair, she exuded a youthful, alluring charm.
She looked me up and down, shaking her head. “You should have covered your neck too.”
I smiled faintly. I’m going there to apply for a job.”
I didn’t think my outfit was inappropriate. A light blue tracksuit, hair tied in a neat high ponytail, natural makeup fresh, neat, elegant, and appropriate. It was fine.
“Darling, male werewolves are visual creatures.”
“If Xander Shaw simply wanted a beautiful omega as his chief secretary, the position wouldn’t
still be vacant.”
“Beauty and competence aren’t mutually exclusive.” Ivy playfully poked me. “Luckily, I brought an extra outfit; we’re about the same size. Borrow this.”
She dragged me into the changing room without a word and forced me to change. Since I needed her to help me get the interview, I couldn’t refuse.
When I came out, I was instantly transformed into a seductive vixen. A white tight–fitting sleeveless top, a black, daring pleated mini–skirt, showed off my figure. My fair, shapely legs would have been enough to captivate any man.
“OMG-~~” Ivy dramatically covered her mouth. “Sophia, you have such a great figure! Jason really doesn’t appreciate what he has. What’s so great about Tanner?”
I automatically ignored the last two sentences.
I looked at myself in the mirror, worried. Dressed like this… Xander Shaw would probably think I was trying to seduce him, right?
“Ivy, I think…”
“Shh.” Ivy gestured for me to be quiet, answered her phone, “Hello, Mr. Chou. You and Mr. Shaw are already there? We’ll be right over.”

Ivy’s excited whisper reached my ears.“Wow, he’s completely different from when he was a child! He’s so tall and handsome now! I’m going to faint!”

“You’re doomed too? Have you fallen head over heels for Xander?”
My expression was worse than crying.
The golf cart stopped. The two men also noticed us.
Ethan Chou waved to us, his eyes landing on me with obvious admiration. Xander’s surprise flashed through his eyes, immediately replaced by a chilling coldness, making him seem extremely unapproachable.
