With Summer’s help, I took a shower. For the past few days in the hospital, I couldn’t get my wound wet, so the nurses had only wiped my body. Today was the fifth day since the injury; the surface of the wound had healed, but I couldn’t move too much.

“The doctor said you’re fine. You can be discharged after resting for a while,” Jason stood far from the bed, his tone cold. But it was clearly much better than before, when he wanted to kill her and saw her as a viper.
Tanner was delighted. She still reached out.“Jason, can I hug you again?” Then she quickly explained timidly.“I don’t mean anything else. I’m just sad thinking about being your sister in future.”
