In the evening, as the sun set in the west, the crimson glow illuminated the window frames of the Drug Development Institute. In the laboratory, there was a hazy dim redness. Giana walked in and pressed the light switch. “Why isn’t the light on? What are you staring at?”

I meticulously tidied up the experimental equipment.“Let’s hear the bad news first.”

She claims that you caused her to lose millions of incomes, burdened her with enormous debts, and caused her family to fall apart, to the point of almost getting a divorce.”
I didn’t even lift my eyelids and gave a bitter smile. “Did she not mention being deceived?”
“Scam?” Giana suddenly realized.“Oh my god! So that’s what it is. She didn’t mention a word; just said she invested in a project, didn’t say what project it was. It’s because you were jealous of her, jealous that she would make a fortune. So, you sabotaged her investment project, making you look very disgraceful. Now her fans have increased to over 80,000, and many people are criticizing you. There are even internet users who want to dox you, the worst sister–in–law.”
I packed up my equipment, took off my work uniform, and prepared to leave work.
Giana was puzzled and confused, with one hand on her hip. “What are you thinking, after all? She insulted you so badly; don’t you explain or fight back?”
I put my notebook in my backpack and calmly said, “Giana, although I don’t like going online, I know the power of cyberbullying is very frightening. Keyboard warriors never have enough evidence to convict like the police do. If I step forward to explain, it may not clear me of the charges they’ve pinned on me. Instead, it will expose my identity, and I will be targeted by these keyboard warriors in the future. I don’t know what kind of attacks I will face, and I don’t have the time or energy to deal with these petty matters. I am really busy, very busy!”
