In the study room, Felipe sat on the sofa, hands on his hips, panting with anger. His face was pale, and his eyes were blazing with fire. Kaleb sat on the sofa opposite him and asked coldly, “Dad, what did you really want to do?” Felipe gritted his teeth, forcefully tapping his fingers on the coffee table, making a loud thud. He said, word by word, “In the past, I was short–sighted. The joint shareholders messed up your investment in her company. But we are still family. I am her father–in–law, and she dared to speak to me with such an attitude, and even dared to confront me.”
Kaleb coldly curled his lips; his eyes were filled with disdain, and he couldn’t be bothered to speak.
Felipe couldn’t swallow this anger and ordered, “If she refuses to cooperate, then you should divorce her. I never agreed to your marriage from the beginning, as she is not a suitable match and offers no assistance to the Barton family’s business.”
Kaleb lazily leaned back on the couch, silently gazing at Felipe with a cold and indifferent tone.“I’m sorry, but it’s difficult for me to comply.”
