Stormy Marriage 16

Stormy Marriage 16

Chapter 16

I used those two hours to pack luggage for both of us. I gritted my teeth and entered Kaleb’s room, which was still as neat as before. Kaleb never let me into his room. Only occasionally when he opened the door could I see my own husband’s living space through the crack. Now looking back, I thought that I was indeed extremely humble in this marriage

Snapping back from my thoughts, I randomly picked two black and white pieces of clothing from the full wardrobe and prepared to pack them into a suitcase. However, I searched for a long time but couldn’t find Kaleb’s suitcase. As I didn’t have much time left, I could only fold them and put them into my own suitcase. I knew he was a neat freak towards me, but I really didn’t have time to bother with these trivial matters

After packing up, I finally had some short free time. I looked at my room, where there was still a wedding photo hanging on the bedside. Kaleb was dressed in a black tailcoat, holding me in a silk wedding dress. In the photo, he had a gentle smile and a graceful demeanor. The two of us appeared to be deeply in love in the photo. But in reality, our marriage was completely a mess

It was also from this moment that I realized that it was also viable for a person to pretend to love someone else. But there were so many other women in the world. I just didn’t understand why Kaleb had to go to such lengths to deceive and torment me

I took off my shoes and stepped on the bed to take down that wedding photo. After finishing all this stuff, I felt a little sore in my arms. As a result, my hands went weak for a moment. The next second, the wedding photo fell heavily to the floor. The glass shattered on the ground, and the smiles of the two people in the photo became blurred. I wanted to pick the photo up, but my finger was accidentally cut by a sharp piece of glass, and blood streamed out. A small piece of glass got stuck in my flesh. I endured the pain and pulled it out

Just as I was about to disinfect, my phone rang

Come downstairs.”

Kaleb’s voice regained its usual calm and coldness. It was as if the voice that called my name with sadness and pain a few moments ago was just my illusion. I didn’t have time to deal with my wound. I grabbed my suitcase and hurriedly went downstairs
