Giana was surprised, “Is it really Kaleb? The Barton Group’s medical equipment is not developed by themselves, so why would he come to participate in the Medicine Trade Fair?”
“It was Wellbio Medical Corp, not the Barton Group,” I wasn’t too surprised.
Giana exclaimed, “Wow! Wellbio Medical Corp is quite impressive, isn’t it? Look at that exhibition hall; it’s one of the most top–notch in the whole place!”
I pursed my lips, feeling envious in my heart. I really wish I could be as successful as him, and one day catch up with his footsteps and be worthy of his abilities.
I lost my focus and, as I turned around, I accidentally bumped into the arms of my male colleague. I made my male colleague laugh by accident; he helped me steady myself and said helplessly, “Can your own husband still be so engrossed in watching?”
I was said to be a little shy and embarrassed, “I’m really sorry.” I didn’t expect that the male colleague would stand behind me, just like us, gossiping and watching the exhibition hall.
Male colleague:“No problem. Hurry up and tidy up, clean up this place, and we can display the products.”
I continued to tidy up. Giana was distracted, occasionally glancing towards the exhibition hall where Kaleb was. She muttered under her breath, “Katrina, is he pretending not to see us? He’s so close, but he doesn’t come over to say hello.”
“Didn’t you see him busy?” I responded indifferently.
Giana shook her head, “No, I saw him quite idle, but his employees were very busy.”
“Stop staring at him all the time, hurry up and tidy up.”
Giana completely ignored the work and held a towel, staring at the exhibition hall where Kaleb was. She walked back and forth while analyzing leisurely, “He has glanced at us here hundreds of times, pretending not to see. Should we go over and say hello to him?”
“No.” My voice was serious.
Giana shrugged and fell silent, knowing that I minded Annalise’s presence and felt uncomfortable about it.
The exhibition hall was cleaned up. I walked up to my male colleague and extended my hand, saying, “Give me the car keys; I will go to the parking lot and bring the goods up.”
“I can’t let you do these heavy tasks; I will go and do it.”
