Kaleb didn’t speak anymore, turned around and left the booth, walking towards the exhibition hall. I watched him walk into the bathroom. My heart inexplicably warmed; I lowered my head and laughed happily and shyly.
Annalise walked over from the side display cabinet, looking around. She casually picked up the mineral water that Kaleb had put down and unscrewed it, saying, “I’m so thirsty.” As the words fell, she drank directly from the bottle. I was dumbfounded.
Giana, feeling annoyed, walked over after seeing it, tightly clenched her fist and said, “Annalise, this bottle of water belongs to Kaleb. Why did you drink someone else’s water?”
