I walked out of the Drug Development Institute. Unlike before, Kaleb was standing outside the car waiting for me. The sunshine at three o’clock in the afternoon was bright and dazzling. He was dressed in a light gray suit, gentle and refined, with an air of nobility and restraint. His handsome face was adorned with a soft smile. Even though we had been married for two years, I would still feel my heart skip a beat when I saw him.

After the symposium ended, Kaleb took me to a restaurant. I was afraid of missing out on such a good opportunity, “Shall we go and say hello to those deans?”
“Let’s have dinner first,” Kaleb said as he walked into the grand restaurant side by side with me.
“But…” I thought about business matters.
Kaleb took my hand and said, “They were all inside the private room.”
