He didn’t expect me to sit directly on his lap, my plump and soft body leaning into his chest, burying my face in his shoulder. A faint scent wafted into his nostrils. His body stiffened, and he instinctively embraced me, leaning back on the sofa. His pupils trembled slightly, and his whole body became rigid, not moving at all, while his chest heaved heavily.
In an instant, Kaleb’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, his voice becoming hoarse and deep, “Katrina, I told you to sit on the couch, not on my lap.”
I lifted my head from his shoulder, my cheeks flushed with a layer of crimson rouge, which stood out on my fair skin. My eyes shimmered with a hazy and bewitching light, my breath was light and warm, and my soft and gentle voice made one’s heart tingle. I whispered, “I’m sorry, not sitting on your lap, but sitting on the sofa.”
I supported Kaleb’s shoulders and slowly stood up.
Suddenly! Kaleb’s large hand gripped my soft and delicate waist, exerting force as he pressed me back onto his lap. His throat felt dry as he swallowed, his voice hoarse and burning, “You can, you can sit on my lap.”
I struggled to open my heavy eyelids, with a hint of confusion in my voice; I stuttered, “Where…exactly do you want me to sit?”
Kaleb slowly tightened the hand held between my eyes, pulling it closer. His scorching eyes, like molten lava, stared directly at my exquisite and beautiful face, leaving me feeling dry–mouthed. My drunken appearance was so adorable that it made him want to take a bite.
Kaleb’s chest heaved heavily, his lips and tongue becoming increasingly dry, and his breathing became rough, heavy, and erratic. It was as if there had been a fierce struggle in his heart; he raised his hand and hooked the back of my head, slowly getting closer. His voice was so hoarse that it was barely audible, “Katrina, kiss me.”
